i made a post about this before, but heres one more question:

my hands get cold ridicuously easily. i was lookign at dakine gloves. are the dakine scout gloves the warmest they make? i dont care about them being higher profile or w/e than the bronco

oh yeah? well me and my friends have been bathing off the southern coast of st. bards, chilling with spider monkeys. tripping on acid gave us a whole new perspective on shit.

I tried all the dakine gloves I too suffer from cold hands. I've tried northface, dakine, pretty much every glove the shop I worked in sold. None of them worked. And then I found my 30$ Dakine mittens, happily ever after

We pay our debt sometimes.

If you really want warmth, I'd suggest getting some cozy Bronco GT's - those will suit you great in the spring and on warm days.

But get some OR (Outdoor Research) shells - those mothers will keep you warm.

But if you want to go all out, I believe Marmot makes down mitten, which, even on -30 nights my hands would sweat in.

Do some material research, fleece lining, loose-ish fit so you can wiggle, Gore-Tex or comparable outer synthetic. Get windproof and waterproof gear.

Trust me, do a little shopping in a mountaineer shop and you'll find just what you need.

i feel your pain, i can be sweating but my fingers will go numb. i might have to try those mittens, so far ive just blamed it on bad circulation and tried to ignore it.

no the scouts are not the warmest, the lightnings are to my knowledge. 8 ozs of down instead of 6, i only know because i sold a ton of dakines on ebay.

...

^haha ok.

are the lightnings extremely warm?

the lightnings are great. ive got some,i had to walk home like 2 miles last night. i got lost twice, but the hands stayed warm!

Oh, another idea.

Pearl Izumi, Lobster Claw gloves, those things amazing. Mitten warmth, glove dexterity.

My Dakine Mittens worked pretty well until my dirty ass roommate wore them for a day and gave them serious funk. They also started to tear on me after a couple years of use. If you have the means, Black Diamond really makes the best gloves - Stratos or Guide are as good as it gets. Patrol isn't quite as warm, but full leather is nice...

Straight up, homeboy above me is right on with the Black Diamond tip. I was a hardcore climber before I started skiing and BD makes the sickest gloves. Check out the models that are made for ice climbing. The mercury mitt and the ice glove are so titties.

i've had great luck with GRANDOE gloves. they have a light inner glove that fits into a thicker shell glove. they are ugly as sin but work good.

Dakine scout mitts are rediculously warm. no line and minus 20 and my hands were sweating. it can be bad but its better than freezing fucking finger pieces of fucking shit roller skates.
