has any one ever used this pack with the camera block to hold an fx1 or does any one know if it would fit

Pretty sure it wouldn't. I use it for my still gear and my 17-55 just fits in when it's attached to the camera, which is maybe 11cm wide.

alright, well does any one know of any pack that would work to carry an fx1 and skis too

i just got the sequence and im not sure if it could fit the fx1. I have a gl2 and it is a pretty tight fit. My buddy however has the older sequence tht does not have the removable camera block and it does fit his fx1

i can try and out his camera in my bag today and report back to you. i will let you know of it can fit

yea there's another decent size zipper compartment that holds some food and random stuff or a shovel. then there's the top pouch that's big enough for goggles and on the side there's one pouch for a water bottle and another side pouch for whatever, plus the small camera pouch on the waist belt. i ended up getting this backpack for my fx1 and it's worked out great. a bit of a tight fit for the camera but it still works fine and there's enough room to carry a shovel, tripod and a few other things

I don't agree. There's not a lot of room for other stuff at all. The front pocket fits a shovel blade only. On the sides you have a mesh water bottle holder one one side and a pocket on the other, but if you've got your shovel handle and a tripod strapped to the sides then you can't use those. I have those only half the time anyway. The top pocket will take a sandwich and some snacks but not much more. You can squeeze an extra baselayer in the main compartment above the camera block but it's tight.
