Hey all,

So I have a Dakine Heli pack I got back in November. Its a great pack, lasted through the ski season and the school year... until a week ago. Some stiching on the waist strap attachment point (the comfy bit that flanges off the main pack) came loose and its now detaching...

Anyways, does Dakine do warranty stuff? Anyone ever returned something to get it replaced?

yeah i got a warranty because the zipper broke on my backpack but they sent me back a different model that i didnt like as much

Haha, I'm in your sig, awesome.

What did you do to get a warranty? Did you just send it back after contacting them?

haha yeah,

i talked to the store i bought it from and they said theyd get it warrantied so i left it with the store to send away to dakine and then a couple weeks later the store phoned to come pick up my new bag. im sure you could just phone dakine though and get an address to send it cause they have lifetime warranties

Ive sent back Dakine gloves before...always warrantied...no problems ever...I keep the receits for everything though...makes it even easier to send stuff back!

do you want me to claim it even harder?

my dad runs a windsurfing shop out of our garage

and he was pumped when he heard about poorboyz' windsurfing movie!!!!

i had a heli-pro that was a few years old and the straps were begining to unravel...i sent it in expecting new straps or stiched up but they sent me a new one! it was $$...i just called them directly
