So here i was skiing skiing way off in the trees by the salsa shack at Sugarloaf/USA in Maine, when PRESTO my backpack waist belt snags a tree limb and the buckle breaks and is nowhere to be found. I was pretty pisted seening as though i love my dakine heli pro backpack and all seemed lost untill......i email dakine telling them my situation and they just shipped me out a new buckle free of charge. now its companies and situations like this that make the ski industry great!
 
dakine is one of my favorite companies just because like he said, they will do anything to keep you in their product. especially since its a big company why should they care if one person breaks a strap. most companies wouldn't care at all
 
thats sweet, companies that care about their customers kick ass. I had a pair of swany gloves that started wearing bad after 3 days of use, and they shipped me a new pair right away
 
Never owned a pack of theirs, but the Dakine gloves and mitts Ihave had fell apart rather quickly. Sounds like they are pretty nice with customer service.
 
i broke my buckle and they sent them free of charge too, apparently they have a lifetime warranty which is sick
 
Hahah, my Dakine pack got caught on the chairlift once. Theres nothing worse then when when you try to stand up, and you realize the chair doesn't want to let go. I went like 10 feet hanging from it then dropped.
 
sooo many viper spring gloves were returned at the shop i work at. don't know why cuz everything else was top quality. i think it was just the retards wearing paper thin gloves in 30 degree temps with no pow at all, all ice. plus i bet they just fall alot
 
if your talking about that like 15ish foot drop with sketchy landing.......no i did not...there was a lack of snow..too many rocks :(
 
people who don't want to put stuff in a locker, first aide kit, radio, food, extra under layer, if you want to carry a shovel ect theres a million uses for a back pack
 
WHOAOAAAAAAA A NEW BUCKLE?!?!?!?! OMG your pack totally woulda been ruined, it's not like you can buy buckles for 3 bucks or anything.
 
yea not such a big deal getting a buckle but dakine is sick i hvae a helipro and i love that shit
