DaKine heli-pro, Awkward with Skis?

Just wondering how the DaKine heli-pro felt with skis. Do they slip out, do they feel like the're going to slip out. Let me know.
 
I have the dakine heli pack and the ski carry system is great deff does not feel like your skis are gonna fall out. I would recommend that pack forsure
 
I have the 07 model and its super bomb proof, the ski carry loops are fine. my buddy has the 08 model and they replaced the bottom carry loop with cable, that you can cinch up, and it works great
 
the dakine diagonal carry system works awesome for going uphill

however when walking downhill my tails nail me in my right calf and achilles
 
^ what he said, the diagonal carry system is prime for uphill, never had any issues, i wanna say itll fit up to 130mm waist width skis fine, i got 110 and its still got room. Never had them fall out or slip, a couple of ski straps definately helps. But yeah if your walking downhill your tails will annoy the shit out of your lower right leg
