Anyone been to tyrol spring jam before?

Is it just like a hike session or is it more of a rail jam format?

It depends on the year but usually they have skiing in the morning comp in the afternoon

So blessed to have a ski hill 3 blocks off campus that can hold snow through finals week! Went up with a few friends today and set up a flat down with their 2 cigar rails, caught a little adrenaline rush dropping the biggest gap to rail of my life. The season is never over until it's over.

Haven't been out skiing much due to shitty conditions/being lazy/injury. My back is feeling better finally so I'm going to try to make it out for Granite closing day on Saturday. Gonna THROW DOWN.

Word Crispy I'll be there. I'm pretty upset I missed out on Tyrols last weekend, especially hearing they had the rope going.

Just out of curiosity did you have to get permission or does spirit just not care? I've always wanted to go shred the leftover snow at my home hill but always assumed they wouldn't let me, just based on how the management is during the season.

As long as you don't do any damage and keep everything exactly the way you found it as if you were never there you're all good. The only thing that could be iffy is if your local hill is privately owned, then it's technically trespassing. The nice thing about Chester Bowl is that it's just another park in the city.

Makes sense, I guess I'm not gonna chance it since Mt. Lax is privately owned..

Season isn't over until it's over. Stoked to still be hiking over at Chester Bowl. Spent 4 hours building a ghetto booter that ended up being one of the best jumps I've hit all year. Put down a few new aerial maneuvers such as Flat 3 Taipan, started trying to turn rodeo 5s into more of a true flatspin 5 (no clue how close I got), best of all I finally got my first backflip out of the way! The shred still isn't over!

Goin to Lutsen for the third weekend in a row for some good old-fashioned Hot Dog action. I feel like that's an accomplishment.
