trolls super fun right now... paddy has came out a bunch and rode, seamus came out the past two days with paddy, kory was out today. Everybodys loving the park set up. if your choosing afton or wild over troll right now, you are retarded, we got a full park...
 
powder ridge opened today, had like a flat-down, down, couple poops, etc and a small booter, weirdly enough half the rails had absolutely no kickers. its like the park crew is all snowboarders............ and i have the top 3 threads on MN/WI/IA YES
 
yes! I was there today and it was so sick. Definitely going back on friday if all the snow doesnt melt tomorrow
 
I went to Buck yesterday and it was alright, they need to learn how to build lips. Setup wasn't bad otherwise.
 
well 2D, but the box says it has "3D effects", and it does. Like that scratchy stuff that change when you look at it from different angles, regardless, it was difficult.388824.jpeg

 
I enjoyed the first day of hyland by standing around and complaining that the rope wasn't open and that it was a Friday morning so all children should have been in school and not at the hill bothering us old people.
 
Hyland was fun yesterday. The rain in the morning scared everyone of so you could lap the chair pretty easy and it never really got rutted out.
 
we made this last year in utah, was a blast making them but we gave up after 2.5 episodes

anyways i just watched it again and said 'yeah!'
 
I walked through community park today and I gotta say I am disappointed. there has been snow on the ground for about 24 hours now and there have been no attempts to move picnic tables or set up the handrails there. I did however notice that the down rail at the top and the two or three stair down rail have some gnarly weld beads on them. That shit would wreck skis. be careful out there folks.

anyway who is going to spirit tomorrow? I get done with class at noon so after class I'm headed out.
 
Went hyland on Wednesday and troll Thursday, hopefully welch sometime soon being that a buddy of mine is som e kind of manager there now I heard..
 
Spirit opener! Definitely had way more fun just riding than hitting any of the shitty rails they had set up.

 
messed up my knees last year so last night was my first day skiing since last year. for me, i had fun because i missed skiing so much. chilled on the bunny hill mostly and not rebuilt enough to hit rails, but i'm glad to be back out there!
 
Went to Hyland today, gteam everywhere and the tow rope kept breaking down. It kinda sucked, I really sucked/ have nothing to claim. So ready to get up to spirit next weekend hopefully.

hyland still sucked. snowboarded today, but super close to stomping my 3's again ...
 
trollhaugen was great! they had their whole park open with about 12 rails set up and a couple jumps.the only bad part was nobody maintained the park, there was a lot of ruts in the landings as well as in the kickers. 9/10 people were snowboarders, there was only 3 other skiers though... where were you guys???
 
yo, sorry i wasnt there to maintain, i had other business to attend to, where i couldnt work. but I usually keep a pretty good control over the park and maintaining, by myself basically. and yeah, theres only about 5 skiers that actually ride troll. and i like it way more like that, i would rather ride with snowboarders.

ohh and paulwall, i strongly dislike you. and fuck wild mountain, and their park. you guys are not hosting the xgames or anything... right? and i bet there are numerous other people out there that will agree with me on that one. sorry i have to maintain a whole park basically by myself at troll. I am glad i am black listed from wild mountain for life. none of you will ever see me there ever again. fuck it.

Bummer Summer... Sorry you feel this way, and clearly so strongly indicated by your poor choice of language.

I think it's unfortunate that you are the only one that cares about Trollhaugen's park, but you don't have to apologize to me, it's okay. Perhaps you should look into recruiting some people that care.

I don't know what you mean by Wild Mountain hosting the X-games... that would be silly considering Aspen is a way better location.

And a Wild Mountain Black-List eh? That's a bummer too, hopefully I'm not on that list.

I don't have any beef, with anyone really in fact. I'm just out skiing to have a good time and clear my mind.

I think I might try some of those metal things again this weekend. I think I try them a couple days a year. maybe it will stick this time.
 
went to wild today. features were sticky and the jumps on to them were quesitonable. still fun though, first day skiing in 8 months and i got most of my tricks back
 
Skied Bridger today, while everyone else was complaining about how "icy" it was (hardpack) I was having one hell of a day.

Back to MN in 2 weeks
 
just got done skiing dunn county snow park. they have suck a sick setup there. if only there was more snow, it'd be way better than christie mtn. then again, anything is better than christie
