Daily throw down 2010-2011

Afton fucking sucked today. Lips onto rails were hardly existent. You had to actually jump. Everything just sucked.
 
Jumping onto rails isnt all that bad its just like doing urban and i would actually prefer it if they did that all the time.
 
Well yeah, sorry I didn't explain it very well. I like it like that too, don't get me wrong but you're jumping from basically flat ground it get a little annoying after a while.
 
ya that was my home hill before i went to school and the lips are urban on, but they are still basically built up to the top of the rail

you would hate trollhaugen then... but i honestly feel way more safe having to jump, then having to drop onto a feature like Hyland, or Afton.
 
come on josh, afton and hyland aren't even comparible.. actually, afton probably has more side hits than troll.. haha.
 
last night i saw trampled by turtles! and tonight i had fun with my friends at spirit. yeeeee. oh and giants ridge on monday was a blast. yesssssir
 
Booked my flight to Colorado for a week from Friday! Keystone on Saturday and Sunday then Steamboat for the next week!
 
Trampled by Turtles played at Trollhaugen last Friday. So many people! and they are so damn good live! by far my favorite show i have been too!
 
Every song they played was so fire! bought there cd too! I honestly have not been this stoked on a band in a long time. and plus there from duluth!

first time skiing in like 3 weeks. did somebody talk to whoever sets up the park? couple down rails and that up tank thing are sick. got tail-bluntish thing bs270 out.
 
finally get to ski again tomaro for the first time in like 3 weeks! and troll that was sweet man!
 
Asian Allen and I were stuck on the chairlift at Spirit today for about 45 minutes..The ski patrollers crashed and rolled their snowmobile right in front of us, so fortunately it started up before they had to lower us down in harnesses..... True story.
 
shrode hyland today. snows starting to turn to poop all over the midwest :( worked on some wrong way slideys and such today though
 
went to hyland today. first time i have ever had fun there, went really fast, and jumped over a bunch of shit, and lots of taps and 450s. Went to troll after, and learned a couple new things.
 
Cork 7 two days ago, favorite trick last might was big nollie front 2 out of a flat double barrel, and last night learned front swap before the kink then after the kink pretzl front swag back 2 out. it was a real fun night
 
haha yeah, super funny! I wanna soon real bad!

Another story, was riding with Ethan yesterday, "Josh, im gonna do a front 10 off this jump" i just tell em, go for it, i gotta see ethan chuck off of a jump. He ends up catching his toe edge and does a perfect front 7 rodeo. He also did switch back rodeo 7s, and a dub back cork 9.
 
did a lot of no tricks today. but got a nose bonk disaster back 2 out on the fdf at spirit. yee got a nice dingggerr with that nosebonk uhh
 
Shredded the back bowls (china and sun down for those that care) and blue sky basin today at vail. It was fucking warm today, like 35˚ at the top of the mountain (11,000 ft).
