Just for that I'll post up another song I've been diggin.

I don't think there has been any designer drugs in this thread yet--this is one of my favorite tracks as of late.

for all you dj's--this song samples the siren sound out of etienne de crecy's "welcome" so if you play it right you can make a pretty dope transition between the two

Well I'll finally get a post in here. I totally forgot about this thread. I'll admit I don't really know the complete distinction of what makes electro different from certain other electronic genres, but I hope these are close enough for the picky ones.

oh jesus, last time there were here they had so much blow and whiskey that I'm pretty sure several people ended up making it from backstage to the hospital. I was too drunk to remember much, but it was a rager.

oh there were too many drugs to recount but I only have eyes for whiskey and coke, I never remember anything else. and I'm friends with what you could call a pro-ho, who hooks up back stage to basically everything. shes on first name basis with most of the dim-mak crew, and a lot of I heart comix artists. best friends with designer drugs, gets texts from bob rifo daily, introduced me to JFK and Steve Aoki, its kind of rowdy. shes so blown out every day that I don't know how she functions though.

from observing her, the key is to make friends with a really really slutty looking girl, who shoots down guys at the last minute, thereby owning their balls. basically, she apparently led on rifo for like two months when she lived in la, and then when he tried to get with her she shot him down. now he calls her daily. so befriend a pro-ho cock tease.

Man, I thought up a whole story to go with this song. It's this guy who's wrongfully imprisoned and separated from his family. most of the song describes his escape, and at the end he finds his wife and now young child and then does that anime-look-up-into-the-sky-determined-zoom-out effect as the music fades out. Use your imagination to fill in the mid section. Also great for skiing that peak to base run.

Now, this one IS industrial, but I think it can pass for Electro.

Dude that song is such a guilty pleasure. I have 6 versions of it including the original. In no way is that depressing.

for about a year now. And don't worry, the remix artists I liked, I

supported and bought songs from them.

this song is strangely familiar...maybe it's too bloody beetroots-esque

and this is just plain awesome, yeah there was just a thread on it but it provoked me to start listening to birdy nam nam again and they kill it

 
Couldn't agree more... I was at Ultra in Miami when A-trak (1/2 of ducksauce) dropped this for the first time and drooled over it. It's gonna blow up.
