Daily electro music thread

Oh not at all; he's the artist my friend showed me and the reason I look into DnB now. He's my favourite. Let me share some of my favourites from him.

Also, hooray! you found the secret of posting the new youtube player! I'm not the only one anymore!

I posted this one earlier, but who cares anymore.

It's nice to hear from you again, I wish you would be less infrequent.

If you haven't noticed by now, we've broken the rule of sticking to just Electro House. So if it's electronic and not dubstep, feel free to post it.

After like a 2 year absence, SHE finally has some new music, and as a bonus it's free! It's like ambient/industrial pop, with some moving vocals. My vision: good song for an Assassin's Creed montage.

That's funny because this is how he describes the single:

"The song explores themes of isolation, dreams and hopes. It’s a love story set in between and during lucid dreaming when the dreamer is aware of the dream and tries to take control over it."

I would say so. Old Skrillex was electro house, newer Skrillex is [personally] a painful attempt at dubstep. I just hate how his "drops" have nothing to do with the rest of the song. No unity, and the tracks don't take you on any sort of journey. To each their own I guess.

But back to posting music. "The M Machine" is the new name for Metropolis, who released a killer track today. Grooving to it very hard.

fuck my shit.

i posted that in a different thread using it as an example of dubstep ruining a great house song.

and now i don't remember what i was trying to post...

here is this instead:

That makes a lot more sense. Opinion of you went down and up rather quickly over that misunderstanding. But you posting that inspired me to open up ableton and replace his drops from certain songs with drops from other songs to see if they actually have anything to do with the melodic stuff beforehand. Annnnnnd though it exaggerates the non-relation to stupid levels, I'm pretty sure I could trick a first-time-skrillex-listener into thinking that's how skrillex intended it. If he didn't use different drum kits from track to track, the transitions would sound like any other skrillex track made in the last year.

And very solid song post in redemption.

^Don't you find it kinda boring how Mord Fustang uses that exact same synth in every track though? It's like he's just sampling and reordering that one part of Space Junk.

But to post a song as well, here's a progressive house track I found today that I like. Don't worry, it does drop eventually and it's worth it.

Raise Your Weapon - Madeon Radio Remix - Deadmau5 by Official Cream

Madeon is about to blow the fuck up.

he'll be playing some big festivals this year for sure.

See I have been listening to this song for a while and it really defines what electro house music is to me.

Anyway, I'll just leave this here since I like it. First time I've opened this thread so I'm not sure what's been posted.
