Dachstein late October?

Does anyone know if the park at Dachstein any good from around late October?

If there's any snow it will be. If not you have 3 other glaciers in Austria to choose from, especially Hintertux will most likely be in fuld swing by then.

the park usually opens mid october with the railline first and by late october everything should be shredable.

also kitzsteinhorn or hintertux are only like 2 or 3 hours away.
