D-structure jam at Alpine!

yea dudes, there is this d-structure jam on the 2nd and 3rd of april at alpine. There will be Pep, Gagnier, Schiller, and like the D-structure guys out there. Be there or die!

Last year I was skiing switch down a groomer and I went by a chinese father and his son and they both started laughing at me -Parkboy

There is alsp a camp right? if there is i'l be there . I want to learn a 360 then i could get all the ladie's.

Im used to it, normally i have to beat the ladies off with a stick but i havent tried it on snow and im kinda worried about loosing my footing.

on a more serious note, it costs money to do the camp, i thought it was just ganna be a jam... its ganna be all 13 and 14 year olds.

The Jam was a lot of fun today just cuz a lot of awesome riders came out to play.... however it was far less organized than i thought it would be and I feel HORRIBLE for anyone that PAID money just to session on a park you could ride anytime for free.

...you're not really paying to just ride the park...there's alot more included..and it's pretty cheap...and alot of riders who never have been to Alpine before came out.

Package 1 - $140 - per person:

2 day lift ticket (April 2 and 3)

1 night at the Tahoe City Travel Lodge ( 3-4 pers per room)

1 continental breakfast

2 Bar-B-Q lunches

D-Camp 1 - $180 - per person

2 day lift ticket (April 2 and 3)

2 days of freeskiing instruction (3 hours per day)

2 Bar-B-Q lunches

D-Camp 2 - $210 - per person

2 day lift ticket (April 2 and 3)

yeah definately windy. saturday was sick though. I think it is a really good deal for people who don't have a pass at alpine. All the people were super chill and really nice and the hot dogs where money. I hope they aren't discouraged by the weather and make and the jam can return to alpine next year with more exposure.

Things went great. I couldn't make it out for the second day, but the first was so chill. That's what they were going for though, just some laid back, fun, skiing w/ new friends. I hope they come back next year too. If you want some pics just IM/email me.

Thanks to everyone who showed up.

Saturday was cool even if we weren't able to do the rail jam. The set up was awkward to make it happen so we changed it for sunday and had a better rail installed, untill the weather turned bad...

For those who didn't know the Ski Jams are free to participate. We had some discount prices on tickets and stuff for those interested...

that flat bar you guys set up was super sick anyway. the lip was awesome. you could do like any trick on or off that rail. even in that weather. thanks for comin. i hope you guys can make it back next year. i'll definitely come for both days.
