So, apparently, Spong was in Cali doing a photo shoot and was hitting a gap jump when he missed the landing and hit the wall. He fell and broke at least 3 ribs, tore his aorta 2 out of 3 layers deep and is intensive care. Hope he gets better soon
 
man ever rime i log on to ns this season there seems to be a thread about how some one else got hurt, get well soon man
 
this thread doesnt tell half of what happened or could have happened, stay strong dspong, youll be back killing it in no time.
 
isnt ur aorta like that huge artary coming out of ur heart?...if so i hope he gets better cuz thats shitty
 
yeah aorta's gotta get pretty serious. cant remember if it's artery or vein though but still. get well d spong.
 
almost 1/3 of all people who are killed immideately in car srashes die as a result of traumatic rupture of the aorta
 
^ I think he was just trying to illustrate how serious the injury is, how lucky spong was to not have been instantly killed, and how important it is that everyone send their good vibes and support his way.
 
HE ALSO BROKE 3 VERTABRAE IN HIS BACK

that was the main concern. He's fine now though, and will be back up by the end of the month
