D spin tips

well, i would say to him to go on a tramp, and do the same motion as if he would throw a 180 to misty.

you can think 180 to misty, the style will be a little different than the usual d-spin though. Work on corked stuff on tramps a lot, and try to insanely cork a spin out, and then lean back hard after the first corked 3. you should off-axis backflip out of the spin, hence d-spin. Note in the movies and pictures (brendan buchar is a good example) when he hits the jump, its not so much throwing the spinning arm forward, but throwing the other one back and down, and following that arem through the rotation.

ya 180 to misty technically makes a dspin, but it doesnt look as good...try going so corked that u flip at the end...just throw corkes really fast...make sure u flip though

Why do you guys say, 'I have to take a shit' when you just leave it there?' JF learning english

The 180 to misty is the easiest way to get the D-spin dialed, after that, you can work on the way you do the motion to have a pure D-spin

There are lots of way to do cork... just watch some at skiing motion and take the one you prefer... cork 540 are sketchy unless you are named Mikael and smoke lots of pot...

I think corked is actually pretty easy, once you get comfortable with it its almost easier than regular. The best way to learn corked (for me anyway) was once you start the spin, tuck up your knees tight and look DOWN at the ground. With the tuck and the look, you should naturally go corked- the weird thing is to keep on spinning. You can check out skiingmotion.com, watch JF for some examples.

so when you do the 180 to misty, do you do a 180 and then throw your arm across your body and down like a misty, or do you throw it like a rodeo which would be a switch misty? i am confused cause once you do the 180 you are switch and it could mean the rodeo way!!!

FIS SUCKS

im going to start trying these this year and im thinking you just set the spin before the flip right?

You just do a 180 into normal misty, once you get it correctly, you,ll be able to do it smoother and it will bacome a smooth d-spin and you wont have to think about what to do.

nah, literally two days ago on the 19th of July i told my friend to do a trick on the tramp, hes a skier but i didnt tell him the trick name (or he would fuck the d spin up) so i said to him to do a backflip corkish thing, by starting by flipping like we would a backflip only once he had left the tramp are partially became inverted to spin like a cork spin, sure enough first attemp he threw a d spin and almost landed it. Just think of throwing a backflip and a cork atr the same time

noooopeee^^^ you will go into some really gay back flip three gymnastics style. the way i learned em on a tramp was practice doing a three sixty(kinda croked) to back drop. after you get that you progress your way up to completing the extra rotation and smoothing it all out. if your gonna try it on snow it is important to remember to be patient. you dont want to start spinning it to early.
