What is the difference between all of these things? I get really confused sometimes and can't tell the difference. Can someone clear me up?

 
D-Spin was crowned by Mike Duglas. Hence "D" Spin. It's hard to describe, but you kind of spin while doing a backflip....I think. Cork is going off axis iny our spin. You spin in such a way that you are at a 90 degree-ish angle (viewing from the side)....but instead of flipping it around like a d-spin you come out of being off axis...Bio is the opposite of Cork....Inverted is pretty self-explanitory, upsidedown. Any other questions?

a bio is a not quite corked out spin and your just a litte off axis and your always tilted in that axis through your spin.

bio is an univerted misty, or forward cork.

rodeo 540 is a side-flip 180,

rodeo 720 is a side flip 360.

Underflip is a 90-side flip-90.

Side flips are called lincoln loops.

flat spin is an uninverted rodeo, more spinny than flippy.

I dunno... there's alot of talk about what is what. Snowboarders dont really worry about it. they call cork 7s and rodeo 7s and misty 7s all 7s. I dont think we should worry about names so much.... besides there are tons of diffent ways to do corks, they dont all look the same.

 
however, a 7 over a 60 foot kicker is not the same difficulty as a misty 7 for example

god damnit ok ....... cork is when you spin left and drop your left shoulder / or right and drop your right and you go off axis...... a bio is when you spin left and drop your right shoulder / or spin right and drop your left. and going as off axis as you would in a cork

A D-spin, according to Mike Douglas, is a cork 3 into a back-full. Candide had it down best when he won the X Games with it in 2000 (d-spin 9, actually). If you watch footage, you can see there is a slight stall after the first 3 where he tucks his head straight back. The second 3 is a straight invert. The stall is what makes it look so stylie, IMO. After 2000, though, people starting using cork 7 and d-spin interchangably.

CORK= SPINNIG OFF AXIS LEANING BACKWARDS

BIO= SPINNING OFF AXIS LEANING FORWARD

Misty=frontflip w/spins

Rodeo=Lincoln Loop w/spins

as for the corks/bios... listen to jackals comment

p.s. when u do a misty or rodeo, the flip part counts as a 360, so if it looks like they're doing a frontflip w/a 180, thats called a misty 5.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...

 
thank you...by the way, everyone forgot to mention that a rodeo is a side flip one way while spinning the other. A rightside sideflip with a rightside 180 is a lincon 1, a rightside sideflip with a LEFTSIDE 180 is a rodeo 5...yes....that is correct
