what is it, i always thought cork was when u cork the first 3, and then d-spin was when you cork the second 3, wat is it?

d-spin 7 is a backflip and a 720. cork is just laid back. on jump your head is facing teh jump

its a bacflip spin, so a d-spin 7 would be like a 360 backflip. think of it as a way over corked cork

i think thers only 1 360, i could be wrong but its weird of axis so the backflip is part o the spin

yeah nervermind. im mad tired adn dont feel like thinkign cause the actuall backflip is counted as a 360°

nah.. if you think about it a dspin 7 would be a backflip 3 because the bacflip is so off axis it looks like a 3

rodeo seven is like cork seven but instead of going under yur shoulder you kinda roll back.

rodeo didnt seem like a backflip in that vid kinda seemed like a half backflip half lincon loop...i dont know

YOU GUYS ARE WRONG!!! a dspin is a forward cork: take of is like diving forward rather than leaning back for a cork: cork is when the bases of yur skis are facing towards the landing, dspin the bases are toward the takeoff... yur welcome

ok, bio is when you cork by going forward, cork is when you cork by going over you back shoulder, d spin is the backflip and a 3 instead of just a cork 3.

jesus fuckin christ this had been debated numerous times and its not that hard to figure out. why even do D-spin's anyways they look ugly. bios are the next hot thing

i think it depends on which you do first, rodeo is a combination of then both in the air, i think...can we get a pro on here to clarify?

d-spin: on axis backflip 720 (what gymnasts do)

rodeo: off axis backflip 720 (looks like backflip and cork combined)

Dspin 7 - cork3 - off axis backflip 3. think of a backflip 7 with the backflip near the end of the 7. its not like a rodeo where the flip counts as 360 rotation.

D SPIN= INVERTED CORK

guess what everyone, the inverted cork was around in snowboarding before skiers decided to pretend to invent it and call it the douglas spin.

these threads are pointless, buut in my opinion the "d-spin" is kinda of a bogus name for the trick, from the videos that I've seen where they call it a d spin, it's just a backfull(backflip 360)

I find an easier way to think about it: in the pipe its a flare with an extra 180/3/5 . CR does a d-spin at the end of his silver X-Games pipe run back a few years ago. Im sure you know the one I mean.
