Cypress open Jan 8th...

I think you mean Nov. 8th. I just saw this and was gonna come post it up.

I might be heading up tomorrow... gonna work it around my school schedule.

From their website:

line of 6 or 7 hits that will be open tomorrow on Rider’s left off the

top of Eagle Express -including a 20’ Flat Box, our new 20’ Round Bar

Rail, our new 30’ Flat Box and a Corrugated Culvert – more details and

hopefully photos to come on this later today!

fuckfuckfuck hope my stuff can be rushed up from whistler to go shred tomorrow, tickets only $18 too! what a great surprise!! sucks its only open till 4:00 with school and all... and that its cypress but still stokeed the ski season is finally here...
 
If anyone goes Friday ill be up and we can spin some laps ill be up with my friend who is going skiing for the first time!
 
I broke my ski right under the heel binding on like my second run.... Couldn't ski hard at all for the rest of the day for fear of breaking it clean in half. I at least made it through the whole day. One of my cambered skis now has a 3 stage rocker
 
ahah my friend also broke his ski under his heel piece today aswell.. except he did end up breaking it clean in half...
 
Ya.. I had a feeling if I landed backseat on anything it was going to snap, so I laid off the park stuff. I was pretty weary of the features anyway after popping out my shoulder last season... Figured I should go for some smaller stuff to build up my confidence again.
 
hahah fuck them. I was the kid in the purple jacket, with the other skier in the green and purple and the snowboarder. we hit first chair together dogg
 
went today, fun stuff. it doesn't seem like they are going to be open much longer at the rate the snow was melting today. would be sick if they could keep it open
 
What's open exactly? Never been to Cypress, is it just one run? Thinking of going for a few hours Sat or sun for warm-up turns since it's so cheap. I live downtown Van so it's not much of a drive.
 
it's one run yes, and there is a small park consisting of a flat box with bank on side, small down rail, down box, and a hip with a corrugated pipe on top of it
 
I'll be heading up tomorrow, seems like they're gonna be open. Lime green pants and pink and blue armada jacket w/ kung fujas' if anybody is going up and wants to shred.
 
Ha I saw but, it wasnt that good up hear today. There was some hale, was really foggy, and lighting struck so they shut down at like 3
 
^be thankful it's even open.

anyways some kid tried stealing 4 pairs of our skis today. he was stupid enough to decide to take a couple runs on one of the pairs, and stashed the rest in the woods. we found him though, he couldn't have been more than 15 or 16. i don't know what was going through his head, he was picked up by his parents.
