Well i went up there today, and let me tell you that probably because i've been skiing Whistler mostly last season, I thought it kinda sucked. I used to like it quite a bit and it was my local mountain of choice for the last few years, but between the asian tourists living the vancouverite dream and packing the runs with no skill whatsoever, a lot of really dumb volunteer lifties and employees, a packed lodge where you have to wait just about an hour to get a cold burger,... And you end up soaked because of the wetness of the snow, but i can't complain about that since we're right above Vancouver. The conditions were pretty good, actually their coverage really isn't bad at all. There was a crusty layer below like 10cm of powder, but it was fun and skiable. The snow is good on the groomers, and sky chair wasn't open. No park, rails or setup at all yet. So this mountain would probably be much more enjoyable on a weekday chilling with friends than skiing it on the week-end... I really wanna try Seymour next time, probably way less tourists and from what i heard it's a fun mountain.
