my dad is an ex street racer so i go out with him sometimes, but i feel like a dork wearing spandex, even more than i do when im racing and wearing spandex and thats bad enough

Spandex is the enemy... I hate biking in spandex, but it really helps.

i mt. bike. XC and everything else. yah, spandex is kinda wierd but i have one pair of spandex and some baggy ones, both fox. i was stoked when i found those. my dads super hardcore too, he shaves his legs!!! that used to embarass me in like middle school but know ive gotten over it. Know Why? cause my dad can beat up your daddy cause hes probably in better shape than you dad. SOOOO SUCKIT! sorry, its my pops bday so i gotta stick up for him

I race XC MTB and also road cycle and triathlons. Spandes ain't that bad, you get used to it. Lycra is a little more comfortable. And chick team-mates look great in it.

i always wear my lycra shorts underneath of my azonic shorts and pants when i am out riding. Gives a little extra padding for the two other passengers riding on the seat.

I never raced, but want to start. I want to start doing some triathlons. I would be OK with spandex, comeon everyone else is wearing it when they race!

its a lot more comfortable actually, you dotn get any hiking up and shit like that. i know how you feel about yoru dad shaving his legs. my dad is really hardcore too and like yorus, he is the best in shape 45 year old in this town

Yeah, I used to shave my legs for it also, and also for waterpolo. It definatley is better to shave them. and Spendex ain't half as bad as people make out. The only people who complain about it are peeps who've never worn it.

haha i like how everyone is cool about wearing spandex for biking but as soon as someone mentions spandex for ski racing all of a sudden its gay, it makes you think though

not true- spandex does hike up. make sure you wear nthing under it.

but if you wear nothing under it, make sure it doesn't have HOLES IN IT! (gr me)

Yha I used to do some racing on roadbikes but its so hard and you have to train everyday. My brother still races a lot though. Hes ok, like a category 3 or something.
