CUTTING TWO LIFTS AT SPIRIT?!?!?

They're thinking of cutting two lifts..

Probably Double Jaw= no big deal

Anyohters though would be death and long lines.

Thoughts???
 
word is that they are makin new runs and they said new lifts and there building a new calet on grand ave at the bottom

they need new rails!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
If we got a good group of skiers together to go to the board meetings, they will listen. They have meetings 2 times a month I think, no skiers ever go. That's how you will get a better park.
 
horner i would go with you if it would make spirits park better i'm all for it just update us on when they are
 
i'm not gonna be the spoksmen i'm just gonna verbalize my opinions and be very repectable and hope that there gonna listen
 
Spirit Mountain will reveal its new long-term renovation plan tomorrow, the first in the ski resort's 34 year history.

Improvements will include upgrading the snowmaking equipment and chair lifts, as well as constructing of a second Chalet along Grand Avenue.

Other additions planned include new ski runs, a mountain bike park and additional trails to be used in the summer.

A number of these improvements came from public suggestions.

my point exactly

when i went to spirit for jib academy, i was going up the lift and i was thinking "oh my fuck im never leaving here this is so sick" but i changed my mind when I got off the lift and went to hit the trap box and got blown backwards by the arctic wind to the point i wasnt even moving anymore.

so i went inside and ate the delicious fries they make...

oh right, the park..build it on another run for maximum shredability.
 
oh didnt you hear? theyre starting the construction on the bio dome that will encompass the whole mountain and keep it at a nice comfortable 30 degrees.

sorry that was a little mean but for real its northern minnesota its going to be cold. just make sure to bundle up. but yeah the wind fucking sucks.
 
zomgee! e-pwn! hahaha ill get j-laf to go and austin and maybe dan if hes down and our hole little crew im not to sure who would this of the ideas to make it better but theres a start for a group of skiers...
 
I wish they could put their pipe and jumps on the next run over, because it's steeper and they could make so much bigger jumps.
 
yeah they deffintly need to put jumps on a steeper run, if the winds blowing at all off the lake you cant get enough speed where the jumps are right now, plus you have to ski down 1/3 of the run just to get to the jumps, next run over would defintly be better.
