Cutting PVC

If you have to cut PVC in half width wise, what is the best method. For the first time I cut em I spend $20 to get 2 10 footers cut in half. Way too much if u ask me. My friends use electric saw things, but I dont have one, and its not that clean of a cut anyway. Any ideas?

if you have to cut them, snap a line with a chalk line to get a straight line, and just use a handsaw going slowly and carefully and it will be fine

yeah ive cut mine with a fine saw like a hacksaw and its worked out fine. i just had to cut off small parts on the ends but it came out pretty clean

Well...I used a sawzal when cutting mine..they went right off like nothing..just use a hand saw and do one piece at a time

if you have to cut them use a jig saw and go slow or use a radial saw and pull the blade up more so it doesnt hang down so far.

word. me 2. and a jigsaw, and a chop saw, and a circular saw.... and this is only at my moms house.

yeah same i have 3 table saws. Plus any other tool i would ever need. I guesse i just take it for granted.
