Cutting edge off ski

yo how does a mf actually cut ripped out edge from my ski, i bought nipper plyers but they are not breaking through the edge please help
 
Just round the edges as much as u can. I don’t recommend taking the edge out but if u do just break a piece of the edge out and then use pliers for the rest of it. You will be better off just making your edges round

im tryna cut this edge off cuz its already ripping out

This happened to both of my Sir Francis Bacons, one about 6 weeks after the other, just ended up cutting them off with pliers. probably got 20/30 days out of them afterwards including spring at Timberline so was pretty happy with that

As in just grip them with the pliers and twist / contort the fuck out of them until they break.
 
use a file or angle grinder to get through that. Or bend back and fourth with pliers til it snaps, then round it off with a file and epoxy the rest back in
 
just did this to 2 v’s that i fucked up. if you have access to an angle grinder and good epoxy that’s prime. i just took the grinder at 90° to the edge and made 2 cuts so i could just pull it out. sand down, epoxy (maybe metal grip/base material before epoxy?) and wax

tried this too and it created too big of a hole in my sidewall. imo grinder is prime

I always use a file and hit it at a 45 degree angle until i get like halfway through then you can just snap it

i snapped it off with plyers and will ptex evantually at somepoint maybe
 
one time I popped my tip edge out and literally just twisted it a little with my gloved hand, found a big rock, and pounded that shit back in and it never came back out
