MEGAZORD Active member Jan 3, 2011 #5 You're and idiot, first off. Try and grab the remaining pole with vicegrips or something similar and heat up the grip to melt the glue. Then just yank it out.

MEGAZORD Active member Jan 3, 2011 #9 Either use my first suggestion, or try this: It really depends on the stiffness of the grip itself, you may indeed break it. Heat it up with the heatgun, and crush the whole thing in an actual vice. The crunched aluminum will hopefully be easier to pull out. Hell, its worth a try. You already ruined the poles, might as well try and fix it.

Imagination Active member Jan 3, 2011 #10 Put the poles in boiling water or under hot water then use a vice and slowly twist the grip off?
