Which one do you guys think would be better for straight park, while many say the stairmaster is I picked up a custom the other day and it felt mad flexy. Any thoughts?
O, I'm testing this out tomorrow too by the way, I've ridden my stairmaster for a year and just wanted some opinions on the custom. I'll tell you how it rides tomorrow
i got my dominant for straight park, i hit my nose on the front of a rail, now thats all fucked up, just bonking tree and stuff down trails broke my edges,
Ok, update. Rails were nice on the custom, I liked it as much as my stairmaster on rails. Jumps were much nicer, downside was that it is TERRIBLE to jib rocks and stuff like that, custom wasn't as flexy but it was smaller so it was still easier to butter with
i bought a custom this year and i love it. it was a lot flexier than i thought it would be and is great for jumps. the only problem is that the base is kind of soft.
i think customs run pretty expensive and still so i dont know if i would get it for a park board, but the waist width on a stair master is really big like 25.5 i think so thats good on rails but it seems to me like it takes away too much responsiveness. i would recommend like a rome graft or a nitro t2 cause they are still good park board but not super extreme in either direction, and burtons do tend to break a lot and its a big hassle getting them warrentied
get a Lib somthing with MTX i wouldnt go with anything banana for the east coast. look at the phoenix series or the trs. all i can say is the mtx edges are the shit.
