hey guys! I have been painting my pivots for a long time, and am thinking about selling some re-furbished ones on eBay or something. but want to get some info on what colors you kids are most into???

I go through a tedious process to ensure the paint is as durable as possible.

I have quite a few of the old style Look pivot 14's (With the plastic toe) I'd be willing to paint/sell if any1 is interested!?!

These are sick. If you sell em on Ebay I might buy some for next season. Blue and yellow looks cleam imo.

I'd sell the blue & yellow ones for $200. or trade for Sir Francis Bacons or jacket or idk.

I’d buy anything that remotely matched my ski colors as long as the paint doesn’t chip off super easily like regular colored pivots lol

This is a good idea. What type of paint application process do you use?

A few years ago Look offered a “raw” color way on the Pivot. I did the opposite and removed all the paint.

I just rubbed the logo paint with acetone until it came off. The logo above the din indicator was easy to black out after removing the din screw. (I was setting up a CAST mod so I had to take it apart anyway).

Spray paint with some sorta bonding spray can primer. and a varathane top coat.

What's the point of painting pivots? I got a set of Forza 14's like 2 weeks ago and they are already starting to look totally chewed.

from my pint of view. you paint them so they don't (DO NOT) look chewed. or so they match your set up better.
