Someone like a long time ago had pics of their helmet with an airbrushed K2 public enemy theme all over it... it looked really sick from what I remeber. Like the buildings and ghetto shit going down. so sick.
just freestyle it up. Just paint it like your going on a canvas/wall....except its obviously gunna be different. But yeah, do it up. You can always fix it if you dont like it.
ivan, i love you, every design of urs is dope, man i wish i could be like you, i put "the bridle" on my helmet, it was cool, n then got lame, to dumont styles, but ur design is dope
make sure you sand it with fine paper and tape of the area really well, taped a shopping bag around the rest of my helmet so it didnt get any paint anywhere else. Exept my dog knocked it off the table, i dont know how, so i used turpintine to remove the paint from where i didnt want it. bad idk, i can push my helmet in where i put turpintine
dude i hit my skis with metalic paint pens and that shit is still there. i would advise elmers pens under a nice layer of enamel. get drawin homie. peace
I have a Giro 9.nine,and i have heard that they are pretty much unpaintable. Anybody know? My helmet is busted to shit and needs a good new coat of paint if possible.
i no theres all like the krylon fusion or w/e but from personal expierience u should use rusto if ur gunna paint something.. they have nice matte colors and think primer and paint which should hold up very nicely on a helmet
well i am looking into it. They are not like the rest of the Giro lineup, or skate helmets. In stead of hardshell it is like this little flimsy plastic.....soo i dunno if i can paint it.
i painted camo on mine, and its holding up fine, just make sure to sand the glossy bit well, and use a primer. and make sure you get spraypaint thats made for plastic
