has anyone done like a solid paintjob on their helmets? i wanna do it this month, since i can do it for school...

any tips?

nah, i mean put some really cool designs on it and shit like that, u kno.

aight, if noone has done it, i guess ill be the first one... ill post pics end of may!

Stencil it, sticker print out, or do an outline thing. Or outline it in sharpie and paint. You got mad drawing skills anyways, so you should be able to do it.

i really hope you could somehow incorporate your designs for the scratch's into the helmet. that would be the sickest thing ever. you gotta post pics if u ever get to do it.

all you have to do is print out that stencil on grenadegloves.com and thats it. I have one of them on a windbreaker, and it looks neat.

i dont mean stickers or brand logos... i mean like real painted stuff... kinda like redbull

im thinkin of doin the same thing, some ideas i had were (cause my helmet's black) im gonna tape off parts so its like letters or cool designs, then im gonna sand it a little and spray paint it white, then il peel off the tape and itl look good, hopefully

i dunno yet, i havent really done any research yet...

what i know is that i dont want it to be shiny...

i think just regular spraypaint... water resistanse is pretty much all i need... and i guess it should be for outdoor painting, so it doesnt crack in the sun, etc.

ive been doing this to baseball caps for years. what you do for helmets or baseball caps, is just get metal markers. what i mean is a gold leaf or silver leaf marker, like a sharpie, and you paint but with the sweet marker. i did this one hat that has an eqyptian painting and all these sweet signs on it. but thats what i would do.

yea i have a bad leutenit and it was green but i made a stencel with T-REnT on it i sprayed it pink (4 layers of it) then i had some like rocky stuff and i le that dry then 5 layers of clear coat i prefer dull over shinny

i would go for regular spray piant but and like clear coat and what ever else

Wax/Grease remover (liquid in a bottle.) ie. "Goo Gone"

Scour pad (kitchen section of wal-mart. heavy duty i think. colors: yellow foam...and forest green scour part.) ie. "ScotchBrite"

1 aerosol can of automotive primer sealer (about $4) i.e. "Dupli-Color Primer Sealer"

3 aerosol cans of main color for board (about $4 ea.) i.e. "Dupli-Color"

more aerosol cans of paint if you want other colors (about $4 ea.) i.e. "Dupli-Color"

2 aerosol cans of clear topcoat (about $4 ea.) i.e. "Dupli-Color Clear TopCoat"

non windy place to paint (garage, warehouse, eye of a hurricane)

air filter thingy to go over your mouth and nose... so you're not breathing paint fumes

i found this online

i spray painted a k2 stencil on mine and its stayed on fine for like 3 yrs, just 2 coats, i'd maybe try the paint markers so that you can have better control easier

I saw one that was painted like a balla hat. it was striped where creases would be, had a number at the back, and was obviously NY

my friend has a airbrush for like painting cars, so i think im gonna paint my bern baker like blue with like white pinstripes look them thug ass hats, and put the W for the nationals on it i think

i bought like 4 spray cans: white, bright orange, black and lime green... gonna be fun ,haha

do it with a paint brush and do paintings like the alien workshop or doctor sues paintings. thats what i wanna do all over my car.

I might have to do something neato with mine because, in all honesty, its the ugliest non-race helmet of all time. I needs all the help it can get

even though its not what you're talking about, i made a sticker for mine
