i went through a whole ordeal to send my 1080's back last season it took them 5 months to get them back.(the ends split open)

my third time on them they re-opened so i ahve no skis and the season just started. and my friends new thruster's ends split as well on the first time he used them.

point of the story, dont buy salomon freestyle skis.

I've had no problems with my pocket rockets, maybe I'm just lucky. They make OK skis, but their bindings are just plain dangerous, that's my only complaint about the company.

I have the 1080 boot, it rocks your mothers vag, and I used salomon bindings for a long time. Look/Rossi is better, but Salomon isnt bad as long as you get a decent binding.

^^ i agree with you on that saolomon has crazy boots im just so frustrated with their lack of awarness on their skis.

its a very very common problem for them i eman i know tons of people who had the same problem. and their new models still have the same flaw.

the tips on my Foils isnt splitting but its starting to look a bit sketchy, chipped and stuff

the s914 and s916 are good and so are the boots I don't know about the skis but I know they are rerally light.

ive had salomon bindings for the last 2 years and they are relatively good, im getting new bindings next season (not salomon) but i will never buy salomon skis, ever

I highly disagree, boots are the only good thing they make, there newest skis are decent.

Well make up your mind, you say you disagree with me, then in the same sentence you say the boots are good, and the skis are decent.

I said they make good quality shit, which they do, but like every other ski company, not everything is amazing. To many people hop on the salomon-hate bandwagon

my experience is that if you land switch and eject with salomon bindings, they implode. maybe it was just mine though.

salomon makes good shit...specially their boots i have a pir...and their bindings arent bad...and they amke good skis i like the guns and pcoket rcokets and gun s lab and theyre x screams

If your tails split just epoxy them back together, seen it done on a pair of 99-00 1080's! Top sheet on the tip split from the base, then just glued it back together until retirement.

for everyone who ses salamon bindings suck its cause you have like the 810 or the ti those bindings are plasic. just get the 914s and your set they dont break and you stay in.

I had the 914s, they just got all loose, and i had the din at like 10, and they popped off when kicked against the ground. Also i had like 3 pairs break on me.

saloman boots are sick.. bindings are okay i guess.. and the skis are good for lighter skiers they have a lot of flex in them..

i have had salomon C509 for 4 years now, no problems, but now im riding rossignol bindings on my scratches, and salomon bindings on my Mo2s

yup my salomons delammed and a piece came of, not from hitting a rail or nething just hit a jump and total seperation, got nothing at all in return for em only skiied em for about a year and a half too

i have 1080 boots and love those and used to have 1080 skis which i loved even tho they delamed and fell apart but i still like them a lot...but i absolutely would never buy another salomon binding..i had s810 tis on my 2080s and they exploded and the titanium plate running thru the heal snapped in half

I broke my Salomon bindings first time out this season, it took them about 3 1/2 weeks even though they said it would be done in a week and a half. But they fixed them, I can't complain.

Salomon sucks!!!!!!

I have broken every pair that I have owned in one way or another!! My last pair were a pair of PR's with 8 days on them. I sent them back 2 me and told me that there was nothing they could do 4 me.

Get a real ski, somthing not made of foam!!

Oh ya and the bindings suck 2!!

Salomon are emo skis!!!!
