Current world problem

I need to write a paper on a world problem within the last year and a half..for example the darfur conflict, but I cant use that so any ideas ns? +karma!

why can't you use the darfur conflict? that's a pretty big problem in the world right now.

how about the problem of not having a decent candidate for the president of the united states?

Does it need to be well documented with scholarly sources, or can you just freely write about a topic you feel strongly about?

i will just throw some out that im thinking of right now.

-conflict with russia and georgia

-tension between iran and israel

-united states financial market (or the global financial market)

-gas prices

-anything you want with supply and demand

- Chinas takeover of the world economically

-fighting world AIDS

the list goes on and on but there is a few haha
