Current vs Past Park Features

Discussion topic! Are current park features larger and gnarlier than those of about a decade ago or is it the other way around? events like super park contain enormous features but were the rails and jumps of the OG era crazier (steeper, rougher, higher off the ground). Just curious about opinions!

looking at og edits it seems like the rails were way gnarlier. i feel like over the years resorts have toned it down a bit.

Id say that tricks have gotten better but the rails have gotten more melo.

It seems nowadays resorts are moving to lower but more technical features. Also less boxes. I remember when A-51 had boxes in it when I was in high school, don't see that anymore (aside from in the smaller parks). Not to say that there aren't taller and bigger features, but it's nice to hit some mellow link rails and not have to go for broke on a giant gap rail or something.

Yeah my mountain has maybe 3 boxes and like 20 rails. Also tubes are becoming way more popular and I'm not complaining.
