Hey so i'm planing on driving up to Mt. Hood May 8th-13th to get some shredding in. What is the weather like/supposed to be right now and what is the park like cause i don't really want to drive up there from Utah and not have it be worth my time.

Anyone up there just let me know that would be much appreciated

theres been like 2 sunny days in the past two weeks and it doesnt look like its changing any time soon.Last i looked at noaa theres a chance of snow showers the rest of the forecast.

I beg to differ...

Meh that didn't work too well sorry. but yesterday the forecast looked like clouds and rain, and now just partly cloudy. who knows, could be sunny coming up! But anybody know what the park lanes are like?

If any of you hood locals could give me a comparison it would be greatly helpful.I am planing on going to hood in the second half of august (ik not the best time (due to injury) but i understand that shit is still hike-able).
So what im wondering is this:
Judging by this seasons snowfall (of course factoring in the amount of late season snow fall) how long can i expect shit to be rideable?
I am driving my car from milwaukee out to slc at this time period no matter what so i figured stop by timberline before starting school (U of U).
You get the idea.information posted either here or by PM very much appreciated.

Is there anything worth hiking for around hood or just park. My friend and I are going to leave in the next couple of days and I was just wondering if I should just bring my park skis or also either my Bluehouse Districts with fritschi or my ON3P Wrenegades (great in the corn)
Thanks, didnt want to make a whole thread so just put it here.

I would be inclined to tell you to just bring your park skis. The hike to terrain is really mellow and not dramatically different than riding the Palmer lift. The park is very good right now.
