Curious about a Biggie Smalls line

holy shit i know but i guess this is what 5 years before most of the kids on this site where alive but common guys major american history here..
 
well really i wouldnt expect alot of people to know this because for example, i was in 2nd grade when 9/11 happened, (i know im young but) we wernt really into "major american history" yet... so as the years went on i would assume that teachers just thought that since 9/11 was more current and major why dont we just teach them that, and after 16 years or whatever, its probably not been tought in too many places. personally i didnt know about this but who knows maybe other schools learn about it...

i am by no means a history buff, but I can't believe that this is a serious question. Do yourself a favor and google it next time.
