Cure for cancer?

So I’m watching this show today and this guy is talking about how there has been cures for diseases such as cancer and diabetes and blood clots and all this horrible stuff killing people around the world each day.. And the reason why it’s not open to the public is to keep people suppressed and make larger profits goal for every company of course. This pissed me off too much for words if it’s true. Now it’s totally possible that this is a crazy man looking for someone to call him because he’s lonely. Any thought of ideas on this. Do you believe there really is a cure for some of the world worst diseases and its just being held back for the almighty dollar?

Who knows, I mean that is most likely true to a certain extent but come on now would you really want there to be cures open to the general public aside from the money issue? Let's face it, life is life and terminal illnesses are a part of life. If there was a cure to all diseases known to man, then our population would grow rapidly out of control just making things worse. And please don't call me an asshole becasue my family and friends have been affected by terminal diseases and I agree that they are horrible.

it suxs that every one is dieing but think about it if they cure aids and cancer and diabete's or heart atackes or w/e eelse kills people the earth is going to get way over populated and every one will die and leading up to every one dieing it will be horible to live here because there will be huge fammins and awww

It's for the same reason that automobiles running purely off of hydrogen or solar electricity haven't progressed quicker and a standard in the consumer market..

Money. Power. Greed.

Oil compnaies are some of the most powerful and influential companies out there, and they will do everything they can to make sure they remain on top, bring the most money in, and not have to change the way they do business.

If they weren't so greedy and near-sighted then they would realize that with new technology comes new opportunities and new markets. Instead of spending millions of dollars to fight it, they should welcome the change and establish a new presence in hydroelectric and solar technology.

The same remains true for the medical industry.

The medical industry sees trillions of dollars. They are in business for money, not for people. If they cured all the diseases, they wouldn't have people spending millions of dollars on medicine perscriptions. So if that means many people will die or remain sick if they don't research a cure, then so be it. Why care when they are making millions off it?

Doctors treat symptoms and prescribe you temporary relief from it. If they solved the root of the problem, how much money would they make?

It's a viscious system.

we think alot a like .. i think alot about those oil companies and how they are covering up stuff to make cash ... peopel should be more open minded about ideas for sure stuff woudl get done and money can be made difrent ways plus how much money do peopel need ne ways after a while its all to much .. i bet alot of peopel cant sleep atnight with out pill because of what they are holding back from the world BASTARDS

Not so much they are covering up, but rather they are taking a wicked lack of interest of researching for a cure. Why find a cure and then not tell people about it when you could just not try to find one in the first place? You see they will have no guilty concience when they tell people they haven't found a cure because in reality, they really haven't.

 
there probably isn't a full cure that just completely gets rid of cancer, but there are probably more effective ways of treating it we might not know about.

theres no way thats possible...maybe u didnt understand correctly and they were just talking about differnt devices used to kill cancer have been tested and tryed but just hasnt gone threw all of the production stages to be open to the public...i have heard of some new ideas of now they have a medicine that cuts off the blood stream to the tumor, killing it off...another is a micro bomb gets inserted into the tumour and totally iraticates the bad cells only with intense something or other...i dont know but i dont think what ur saying is possible

yeah this is true back in the 1970-1980's there was this carborater thing made for cars by the german sc. which woud make the car run 5fold longer casued it would use such little gassssss.........but the gas companys bought the dsign and pattend it and destryed it cause think about it say a car goes 20 miles to the gallon thats the then 100 miles to the gallon if this carborater was made and sold to the public but the gas company would lose millions even billions so they bought it off the guy and as i sad before destryoed it.

yep, i watched it at 3 am a couple nights ago...but if he gets sued so often..how could he have kept his business going?

i can't imagine he sells enough of those lame books to compensate all the legal expenses
