Cult suggestion

just little suggestion that might make the the whole cult thing a little better. why not throw in an option where the master can send a message to everyone in the cult? sort of like a mailing list to let people know of anything going on.

I support it. It'd be great for the DL, instead of poor Jarret trying to pm all the active members... Or just general cult broadcasts.

ya that would be awesome! because usually people dont go into the cults as often as the forums...and everyone checks their messages when they get on... so they would be sick!

I realize you have alot on your plate as it is, nopoles. But, if you get the time. the cults could use a little bit of work.

There was one thing harvey suggested implementing when they first came out, and it was a great idea. The idea was to automatically terminate inactive cults (say if nothing has happened in 3 weeks or so).

Right now, it's a mess in the cult list. There's hundreds of cults that people haven't even gone to in months.

Also a second issue was the member list.. The Member # (how many members are in the cult) does not decrease if one of the users get kicked/leave.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

 
just get rid of the cults altogether

there is ample space and oppertunity to post whatever the hell you want to talk about on the forums, why limit it to just people involved in that particular cult

cults should be 'suspended' if they are inactive for a month; and it is up to the grand master to activate them again or not. there are other reasons why people dont post in them for periods of time.

take cults for sports for example. if the sport is in the offseason, people are less likely to post, but that doesnt mean they wont ever post againin the cult, as the sport is likely to continue at some point. so it is useless to automatically delete them.
