who here goes to cu, i just started this year im a freshman from the east coast

holmes, most of us go to CU here. Some of the kiddies are a bit younger and there's schmitty. He is like 30 or somthing...

I'm a second year grad student at boulder... rich kids at boulder... lol... the rich kids would've gone to good high schools and gotten into better colleges. Unless they're here to ski - like me :)

^^umh, there are so many out of state rich kids at this school, it is ridiculous. cu is a damn good school if you choose the right major.

Hey... I resent that. I am a white kid that goes to CU, freshman, and Im stinking poor. We need to start getting together, scoping out some rails on campus. James and I found some pretty sick ones already.

yes evan, we need to start hitting some of those rails. does anyone here know if the ice rink at the CU rec center uses a zamboni so we can steal its ice shavings.

Guess what guys---I'm already building a rail. If you come to Arnett Hall in Kittredge, you'll see the parts being assembled this weekend or sometime this next week. It'll be standard 10-15 foot flat bar positioned on this perfect little hill facing Kitt Dr. You're all welcome to come hit it in our little jibfest sessions this winter.

nice switchmisty... A. Yes, the ice rink does have a zamboni, but no, I doubt we can steal the snow because they stopped putting it outside and instead melt it all so that people don't steal it to jib rails...

B. Rails on CU campus = bad idea, unless you can just sneak in, hit it, and then sneak out - they take it REALLY seriously and will pretty much take you to jail if they catch you. But there are alot of super-sweet rails around campus I've seen

they stopped putting the ice shavings outside? damn, we used to get a tarp in my car and fill that up last year to build runins...that sucks

I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues

yea i am applying to CU boulder for fall 2005, and i'm from the mid west, so. pretty stoked wihs it had more business or art majors but its all good, hopefully i'll get in, who knows ACTs this weekend... sat's are gonne be easy not worried, just gotta get ino a school where i can ski and actually do something with my life when i'm done with college

i dont know they have a ton of snow on the inside sometimes it seems they rarely use their snow melter. you could probably go to the front desk and ask if you could take some

u of utah, ur 45 minutes from Alta!!!!!!!!!!! but, then you have to live in Salt Lake. i go to Boulder. it's cool. skiing is still close by.

yea i have thought about that, like ya sick atla, and park city, but salt lake city, ehhh' not so much, but they do have better dorms, but like boulder is such a sick college town, and still good skiing just not as good, and like i wanna get into a sorority which is a joke at utah, and good at boulder but like kinda scarey cause of the 3 deaths (i know alcohol related). i dunno what to do, i have wanted to goto boulder my whole life, but my mom doens't think i should go there cause it is such a party school, also my twin sister will be at utah.. ah i dunno what to do. i am def. leaning towards boulder

CU is a crazy awesome school. Its a huge party school but it also has one of the top engineering schools in the country. Everybody at boulder is just plain chill and boulder itself is simply the coolest city in c-dot (colorado). The skiing is really close and really good and hey, jibij is there! I may be completely biased but id definentally go w/ CU. The only reason i didn't go there myself is because CSM is a little better in what im doing, but im probably gonna transfer for a semester soon anyway.
