I know theres alot of threads but i was wondering what exactly it will take to get into boulder grade wise. im out of state and junior now and im coming out to ski breck and key for a week or two and wondering what it takes to get in and if i should visit it.

talk to me via pm or email about , anyone who goes there would help, just wana get some info on what its like from some one who goes there.

if anyone wants to show me around or ski , that would be word.
 
i go to boulder and I'm from out of state. I had about a 3.6 gpa and scored a 25 on the ACT. I am in the Arts&Sciences school, it might depend on what you're planning on majoring in. Write a good essay on your application and have average scores/gpa and you'll get in.
 
dude honestly boulder should be the most desirable school in the country they should add it to the ivy league and delete brown

I applied with a 3.21 and an 1140 on the SAT (reading+math) and I wrote a bomb essay, you think I'm getting in?
 
I just applied as a transfer with a 2.7 high school GPA and some

credits in college (2.85 at 1 school for 2 classes and 3.6 at another

for 2 classes) SAT 2000. I haven't heard back yet. hopefully soon cuz i

applied for january.

Seems everyone who posted their grades here is in the right league but who knows, applying to schools can be weird
 
im gona end up having about a 2.8 and should have a pretty good like a little above average scores on my sat's. im hoping il get in cus thats the only place i wanna go.
 
what they love most is leading people on to believe that CU is a 'ski school' and nabbing that out of state tuition. 
 
ah hell that's awesome i thought it was hard to get into. I have a 3.0 but i got a 32 on my act so i think they will take, right?
 
the particular school within CU you're applying to will change the situation. Obviously arts & sciences is easiest, while business and engineering are tougher

i had a 3.9 and 1950 sats, but i know kids with shit grades that still wrote a good essay and got in. basically they love out of staters money. definitely come and take a tour. pm me when you are coming and i can show you around a bit if im in town . such a fun school though
 
I had a 4.0 and a 36 on ACT and I didn't get in. I went and talked to the dean and showed him that I could chug beer and date rape girls and I was in.
