CT drivers license question

My brother is taking the road test in Whethersfield this week and he is freaking out about it. I took it when it was available in one of the ones that shut down, so I can't really help him on the route. Has anyone recently taken it in Whethersfield? Is there highway driving, how long is it, and what kind of parking do you have to do?

i have not taken it here but i have friends that have and im pretty sure he will have to reverse park and maybe parallel park, but im almost positive no highway. i didnt know wethersfield was giving tests anymore, my brother is going for his license next month and he has to go to Waterbury.

My advice, go to the DMV in Wethersfield with him a few days before the test and just drive around a few blocks around there, that way you can see if there's anything that'll be tricky. Also, let him know that they're not that hard and they usually don't try and trick you (I literally drove around a block in Winsted a went back, it took like 5 min).

he found out about google street view and has been going through all the streets within a 5 mile radius of the DMV up there haha

All I know is in some driving tests in MA they try to fucking trick you. For instance, one kid was asked what does the break do and he said stop the car, Failed the answer was slow down the car. Another example recently the guy put the emergency break on before my friend started to trick him and he also failed.

ct only has a driving test for your license, no written one. and also i think your supposed to put the parking brake on when your done with the test, and in the beginning to before you start.

when did that happen?
I took mine years ago, all I had to do was back in to a space and do a k-turn. while driving roughly half a mile down the street. I got points off because I pulled into the left side of the parking lot entrance (as opposed to the right side, no barrier between though). still passed though.
just don't be stupid and it's good.
