I'll be transferring to CSU as a Junior next year from DU (don't hate, that's part of why I'm transferring) Anyways, any NSer's on here like to get down at CSU? What pass do most of you guys get? I don' know anyone there and am looking for some folk to hit the slopes up with. If you like to mountain bike or hike or camp, whatever, the same goes for those, especially the biking... As far as skiing goes, I ski mostly the mountain, I'm down with park but just starting to get my feet in it, ski some backcountry and am trying to get down on that more. I have all my gear and everything.

Wierd. Posted before I meant to. If anybody knows anything about places to live or anyone that needs roommate that would be dope too (have to be dog friendly though).

haha, i wonder if my old roommates will need a roommate for next year?...anyway, i went there for two years but am taking time off now while i still have healthy knees and no real job to be obligated to keep. alicia (aliciadomSKI) goes there, shes really the only NSer i can think of that still does, and mike (mlski). it seems like all my friends got the 5 mountain pass or both, idk, the key is finding people who go regularly you can carpool with.

word. well i have a car, I just need people to ride in it with me lol. i got plenty of skiier friends from DU that I can meet at the mtns, I just don't want to have to rely on them from that far away to meet me there ya dig?

Caitlin goes a ton still. She used to be a weekend warrior, but I think this year she has class only 2 or maybe 3 days a week. Depends on when she works, but she is planning on finally getting more days than me this year :)

yo! im going up there too next year and im at loveland urry weekend...but i was thinkin of getting the 3 mtn colorado pass deal as well. and im always on my mountian bike so lets explore heh heh

Im starting there for grad school this fall...already signed a lease on an apartment so i cant help you out with the roommate situation...im getting the rocky mountain pass or whatever is the season pass to winter park cause i can get it buy one get one free at wells fargo for getting a new account...if you want that go into the big branch near old town...talk to ryan and he'll hook you up.

very timely bump. forgot i even made this thread.

I'm stuck in Denver until the 1st (long story). I'm headed up to Fort Collins to tour some housing/apartment options. If anybody knows anybody looking for a roommate who wants to get down on an apartment or someone who has a dog-friendly house that has an extra room be it guy or girl, I don't care, just let me know. I'm most interested in splitting an apartment or getting an extra room in a house. I'll live anywhere really, as long as my dog can tag along.

I will also be bored as shit for the next 6 days so if anyone wants to meet up/blaze (i'm dry but willing to throw down on some)/hike/whatever hit me up through PM or something. I'll be on NS an unhealthy amount in the next few days killing time. Not that this being my 6,000th post is a healthy accomplishment or anything....

I'll be a sophomore at CSU next year and I ski all the time. I'm down to car pull. Sometimes we set up jibs in the city park as well if you'd be interested. the more the merrier! 5 mountain pass, no doubt

i came on here looking for people to carpool w to ski and stumbled on this post. I just moved back here from steamboat and will be skiing a lot. im down to car pool w u guys anytime as well

Keith Kohlberg. i lived there the year we broke the snow record and part of last winter. why u live there sometime around that time?

yeah i've lived in steamboat all my life, and i just came to csu this fall. My name is Ben Von Thaden btw. i don't think we've met

wait... why would you transfer from DU to Fort Collins, doesn't that basically just add another hour onto an already shitty drive??

$$$

couldn't afford DU anymore. I had no scholarships and my fam had a big, sudden change of circumstances thanks to the shitconomy's recession and my parents having jobs that depend on a thriving economy.

but yes, it adds another hour to the drive, i'd prefer not to think about that haha.

that's understandable for sure, pretty damn expensive here and I can already feel the burdens of the debt racking up.
