it really all depends on your floormates and your RA. the dorm itself doesn't really matter. i lived in westfall for two years. the first year my RA was a tool but i met the majority of my current friends that year. second year my RA was a chick that i knew from the year before, so i pretty much got away with anything. awesome fuckin time. the towers were the shit. true they are far away from most classes, but csu has the most bike friendly campus ever so the only time the distance is a pain in the ass is when it's cold as fuck. unless you live in braiden and have a class in the eddie building you're gonna get wet in the rain on your way to class no matter what dorm you're in.
corbett is the biggest, towers are each a little smaller than corbett (but larger put together and they are right next to each other and share a dining hall). the rest are all the same, except for summit, which i have no clue about because it didn't exist when i lived in the dorms. ingersol and edwards and newsome never seemed to have as many hot chicks as the ones on the north side though.
if you want to try the towers, there's a little known secret of the quad rooms. these can either be really good or really shitty. it's a three-room dorm, and if westfall and durward aren't crowded that year, they'll only put two people in them, so you each get your own little bedroom AND a little living room. if it's crowded though, they stick FOUR people in there, so you share a tiny ass dormroom with someone and a tiny ass living room with FOUR people. anyway, each floor in each tower has four of them, so find out how crowded it's gonna be, and perhaps request NOT living in a quad if there's four people in them, but definitely request one if they're only putting two people in.
