CSU freestyle ski team

word on the street, csu is going to have a freestyle ski team this coming year. any guys or gals that are interested, send me a pm. its gonna be sickkk!

yea boulder already has one.

csu had a freestyle board team, but this is supposed to be the first year they have a freestyle ski team.

im telling you, it's gonna be a waste of money, if they mention copper or winter park at all when talking about training, you need to runs away as fast as you can.

Whats wrong with a CSU freestyle team? Their ski/snowboard club did alright I think. I was a member back in the day, and while I never really did anything with them I think they had a strong turnout.

stop hating ryan haa

but i have no idea how much it will cost.. when i find out, i'll post it in the thread.

and i doubt it will be just winterpark and copper, and if it is..then lame. cause im just getting the 5 mountain pass

ski discounts may be involved too.....

you get some ok discounts at local stores from snowriders, but it's full of gapers, last year i asked if anyone wanted to carpool to the level 1 and rage premiers in boulder, and no one had heard of either...that was the last meeting i went to.

you can take Zephyr up from winter parks base and go down Outhouse to get to the base of Mary Jane. or go up Mary Janes 6 chair at its base and take Mary Jane Trail to Winter Park. there pretty much right next to eachother.

as much as i would love for this to happen, i doubt it will. there are very few freeskiers at csu, its mostly boarders

DING DING DING! That's the answer I was looking for!

I went to Mary Jane for my first day this season, and I thought I was going to die going through the bumps.

i go to csu, i'll be a junior next year. like everyone else said...i doubt there will be a freestyle ski team next year, the closest you'll come to it is snowriders. what dorm are you in?

I go to CSU. I was in Newsom last year but this year I'll be in a condo. Did anybody do that rail jam in the spring? I wanted to do it, but had to leave right when it started for Silverthorne so I could ski the next day.

im in academic village.. haa go ahead and hate on it! but we should get all the skiers together and rail sesh some in the fall

and the pres of the freestyle snowboard team wants to make it into skiiers too, so i guess we'll see what happens!

there are so many moguls there its crazy. after being in utah the last 2 years and never skiing moguls i think id eat shit pretty hard at jane

Yeah, especially for my first day back on snow in over a year - it was really a bad scene. I didn't eat it too bad, but after that my feelings toward moguls were loathing. Then on my very last day of skiing this season I was drug willingly through powder covered moguls at Keystone, which I may say was alright with me - quite enjoyable in fact.

Sorry. That was a bit of a derailment.

nah, we were talking about the csu ski scene, which is basically talking about nothing. consider it more of a re-railment.

Well, Ft. Collins is definitely a cute town with a great college, but it's just kind of far from everything. Boulder is great all around, but it's definitely more expensive.

you lived in newsome last year? do you know amanda poindexter?

and yes, i won the rail jam, it was alright, though i didn't really have to push it to win since russ got robbed and didn't make it to the finals.

yea boulder is definately more expensive, especially pricey for out of state. it was a cool town, but i preferred fort collins.

plus, csu's scholarships are raddd

oh never mind, i thought you were a year older, i lived in summit my freshman year, but this past year i lived by drake and shields.
