C's, B's, Pats, and Sox......EVEN BC football! - Bow down to Boston bitches

Let the cheating bullshit die already, it's such a fuckin cop out. The Patriots got caught cheating in week ONE; since then they've been dismantling teams every week. FYI: EVERY TEAM CHEATS. Why do you think the NFL sent a memo to every team last season warning them about using cameras? Because the Patriots are doing it? NO,because everyone is doing it. Why do coaches cover their mouths when they're calling plays? Because teams have lip readers. Why do the headsets mysteriously malfunction at key moments for the visiting team (which happened to Denver this year, props to Greise for calling that whole drive)? Because every team cheats. Any and every team in the NFL will do anything they can to gain a competitive edge. Don't be naive, it smells.

yes, sox will be on top for a few years now if they dont do something stupid and trade away people, seeing as the yanks blow now

you can't give the pats shit, they're the 21st century dynasty. I mean come on, easiest division? so what, when you get to playoffs and win the superbowl (again.) (oh, and again) (wait, another one?) then division doesn't matter. superbowl is super. it means you're the best. you beat the best team from a different division, section, whatever.

and sox just SWEPT the world series. don't talk shit on that.

it seems like people are getting fed up with boston sports. just let us have our moment, and leave it be, don't be mad, and don't make excuses why your team isn't as good right now.

ahahah, shows everyone who thinks the red sox are selfish whats up!

The Team Loves each other, and always plays as a team, no one else has as much fun as the sox right now.

to all the patriots haters, almost every team video tapes practices, Mangini being the man bitch he is called out the pats cause he has always been competitive with Bellichek from the days they were both on the Jets.

BC... gold, unbelivealbe season, im real stoked to see what happens this weekend with FSU

I know you all seem to be referencing the Redskins game as if that has anything to do with my opinion. I don't give two shits about running up the score. It's the other team's fault for getting worked so badly and they’re just being a bunch of lame ass crybabies. Go ahead New England, I could care less that you guys can run up the score. It cant be that hard to do when you play in the NFL's Special Olympics division (aka the AFC East). By my guest. That simply has jack shit to do with why I think the Patriots are classless.

They are classless because they engaged in an activity that is unsportsmanlike and clearly against the rules of the game. And don't even bring up that bullshit argument that "everyone else is doing it." First off, that doesn't make it okay. Second, I don't see any other NFL teams getting fined and their draft picks pulled because of stealing signals, so clearly not everyone is actually doing it after all.

I simply can't stand all of these arrogant twits that go around bragging about teams that they wouldn't even give a second thought about if they were shit. It’s fine to be proud of your team, its another to be a bunch of chest thumping douchebags. Have fun.

And for the record, I have no problem with the Red Sox (the team anyway). The beat us fair and square and they deserve the title for it.

HAHHA so your team is shitty denver, your just pissed because Farve tore you guys apart while last year the patriots put him on the bench due to an ankle injurey

Are you dense? I didn't mention the Broncos once in that post.

I'm sorry I have to be the person that points out the Patriots aren't immaculate saints that shit gold. Sure, they play good football, but I never disputed that. They cheated and I do not respect them because of that. Now grow a pair of balls and deal with it.

Does it really make a difference? Besides, I already meantioned them. The Denver Broncos are my NFL team.

I almost wish I lived in Boston. But I have to say that I do love California. But both my parents lived in Mass. for their whole lives so I was pretty much born a Boston sports fan.

that was sure one hell of a lucky streak! wow we must've run all of our luck out this season, especially in the post season if that's all it was and not the great talent and team chemistry we have or anything stupid like that!

dude, the pats could run up the score on any western division team, and they proved it when they beat the best team in your division 38-14,, the last time a team in your division won the superbowl was 1998... actually, in the last 38 years an afc west team has won the superbowl 3 times, opposed to the patriots winning the superbowl 3 times in the last 7 years.. clearly YOUR division is the baby division of the nfl

hahahaha, im a completely neutral party in this argument of quinny vs. all of you NE kids, but quinny has been absolutely verbally raping all of you, you are making weak arguments and quinny is rebutting every one of them, with a much more creative vocabulary as well, i think you NE kids are cocky douche bags as well now, keep it up Quinny + karma for you, hahahaha patriots shit gold... this is entertainment

I'm sorry, but did you seriously just use Super Bowl wins as a measuring stick for how good a division is? That is the most fucking retarded logic of any post in this entire thread. The idea of using a single team as an accurate representation of the overall quality of a division is so inherently flawed, that I dare say you probably don't follow the sport outside of Foxborough. Even if your completely stupid reasoning somehow worked, it would be a moot point because both divisions have the same number of Super Bowl titles between them.

Lets look at this year shall we?

Team, Record, Win %

---AFC EAST---

New England Patriots, 8-0-0, 1.000

Buffalo Bills, 4-3-0, 0.429

New York Jets, 1-7-0, 0.125

Miami Dolphins, 0-8-0, 0.000

---AFC WEST---

Kansas City Chiefs, 4-3-0, 0.571

San Diego Chargers, 4-3-0, 0.571

Denver Broncos, 3-4-0, 0.429

Oakland Raiders, 2-5-0, 0.286

The AFC East's bottom pair (Miami and NYJ) have one win between them which is less then the last place team in the AFC West (Oakland) who has two wins. This is while the East's second place team (the Bills) have the same record as the West's third place (the Broncos, who I might add aren't very good this year). That leaves two teams in the West with a winning record while the only winning team in the East is the Patriots. With the exception of New England, the AFC East is complete shit. The only other division that has three teams with a losing record is the NFC West...of whom the Rams belong to and share Miami's record as the only winless teams this season. So far this season, the AFC South has actually proven to be the strongest division in the NFL in terms of winning percentage.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. You're just a bandwagon idiot that knows nothing about the sport. You're just a homer thats going to spout off boatloads of bullshit about how awesome your team is regardless of how much you know or actually watch of your team. I'll bet you couldn't even name ten people off the Pats roster without looking it up.

Before you continue jerk off to your inaccurate and nonsensical crap about football, please do everyone a favor (including your fellow Patriots fans) to shut the fuck up until learn your shit. It's people like you that give your fanbase a bad name. Thanks for reinforcing a bad stereotype asshole.

I don't think there are too many people in Colorado who are pissed that they are not in Massachusetts (at least spell your state correctly...)

patriots > any other NFL team

and the broncos suck, if you cant take down brett favre (which they barely even sent to OT, they're lucky to even snap the ball on that last field goal), then theres no way you can beat tom brady

And me not liking the Patriots because they were caught cheating is related to the Broncos how?

Don't make yourself look like an idiot.

idiot? na not me.. i beleive your the one that said that all the teams in the AFC suck and that the NFC is way harder.. listen, the patriots will fuckin take down any team, regardless of the division.

I warned you idiot, but I guess you just couldn't help yourself.

Would you care to quote me where I said that?

I think the one thing you need to remember about Denver is what they

were talking about during the GB game: they are a team completely in

transition. Right now they have only one offensive starter who was

present a year ago this week.

Also, the Packers have been playing pretty damn well this season....

I would say the Pats are the best team in football, no question.

Coming from a Denver fan, I honestly think most of the pats players are

pretty classy. The only guy who seems shady to me now is Bill

Belichick. And it wasn't the video taping shit, only. It was all the

other stories that came out with the video taping story where he was

just doing shady shit, even to his own players. Surprised me a bit.

so far the majority of the NE arguments are

"your upset because the red sox beat the rockies"

and

"we will beat any team and win the superbowl"

very creative arguments i must say

Those arguments are a strong indicator that a lot of these kids know dick about sports. A typical bandwagon syndrome, no substance to an argument except a weak "my dad can beat up your dad" bit. And all of that because I dare question the holy Patriots. Shame on me.

its just like baseball, any team can win at any time so don't get too cocky. the giants got it going on, someone try to argue that the giants aren't doing good

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaahahaha wait are you fuckin serious? the east is arguably the BEST college hockey conference, the east is just loaded with tons of teams with tons of talent

ok i really believe that the band wagon of hating on boston sports is just as bad as all the bandwagon of boston fans.

quinny did the pats get caught cheating? yeah they did, it has been stated by multiple media sources that all the teams in pro football cheat to gain a slight edge, there are lip readers camera men even the tehnical aspect of the sport (heaD phone malfunction etc). but saying that the patriots are classless is unwarrante, they don't show boat and yes they made a team player out of randy moss, who would've thought it?

bottom line is, stat for stat they are the best team in football this year

and the whole dominating every major sport thing is new for boton fans give it a break, boston just happened to hae great athletes converge on the area at once, no reason to hate on the people that support them, you'd do nothing different if all your home teams were dominant or at least good contenders for playoff seeds

Uhh... the NFC East is hands down the toughest division in the NFL and has been for a long time. There's so much drama and competition within all the teams in NFC east.

You have nothing in your division, just worthless teams and always have had worthless teams.

When a team is as good as the patriots there is now need to come up with good arguments. You keep talking about how bad thier division is. Yes it sucks but they dont only play teams from thier division. They could be in the hardest division and they would still be in first place. When ur a better team then everybody else it doesent matter where u play, ur gonna win regardless. It just might only be by 10 points instead of 25.

Your point is?

All I have been saying in this whole thread is that I don't respect the Patriots because of what they did. I deflected asinine arguments that justify cheating. I deflected the irrelevant comments of "ya, well your local team sux, lol". I also acknowledged that they play good football. I have a legitimate reason to dislike them and I'm not going to bow down and suck that team's dick. What more do you homers want?

I had no real ill feelings towards the Patriots prior to this dirty business. Don't blame me because Bill Belichick lacks the integrity to play by the rules. And for god sakes, will you people STOP using that showboating crap. I already stated I don't care about that.

I proved that several of the people in this thread don't know what the hell they're talking about and probably don't even know why a football is actually called a football. I fucking hate ignorant fans that talk shit, they usually end up falling into the bandwagon camp anyway. They just wear jerseys a social accessory rather then having any real love or appreciation for the game itself.

I like football.

I watch football.

I don't like your team.

I don't live in New England.

Deal with it.

No need for arguments? Thats a bullshit excuse if I ever heard one.

The Patriots could probably be first place in any division this year, but you would never know because they would need to play the Colts twice this year. Again, I never said the Patriots didn't play good football.

haha ooh you started a never ending firecracker....i'll give you this BC has been the only Hockey East team to win at the frozen four since 2000, But hey the WCHA only nabbed it 6 of the other years! Year in year out the WCHA teams are the most competetive, and half the reason 3 or 4 teams deserving to make the naitional tournament dont make it in because its a 10 team conference and its so competetive that teams ranked 5 and 6 that will beat CCHA or CHA powerhouses still wont make it in because of how good the WCHA is year in year out. Yes the Hockey East is good, but no where near the competetive level of the WCHA. In 2004 there were 4 WCHA teams in the Frozen Four. I'll give New Hampshire the benefit of the doubt for sweeping CC last weekend even though they were Outshot and Outplayed and CC couldnt find the net, they pulled a great series. BC and BU may compete in the season, but in the end its almost always the WCHA coming out on top. CC, DU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, St. Cloud State, Minnesota Duluth....thats 7 of 10 teams that are powerhouses. Should be a good year to kick some HE ass!

I disagree with the classless part. What you see & know about in

reference to the Patriots is what you see on ESPN, FOX, or NBC, and

what you read online. Regardless of what you say and how well you know

football, Belichick got caught and a whole shitload others that do the

same thing didn't. These guys get paid to win and they all take any

advantage they can get.

I like football too.

I watch football too.

I don't care about your team unless we're playing team.

I love Colorado.

The AFC east sucks? Yes, yes it does. Has it always sucked? No. What goes around comes around. Is it New England's fault that Buffalo can't get a decent quarterback, that Miami's star running back left the league to smoke pot and fuck, that they restructured the divisions to take the Colts out of the East, or that the Jets spend their money on leftover ex-Patriots that New England chose not to re-sign? I don't think so. It's not like they say hey each division gets 200 mil a year and then the Patriots went and took 100 mil of that, leaving another 100 mil for the other 3 teams to split. Each team can go out and take money to sign whoever, scout whoever, etc. The New England Patriots staff (Ahem Bill Belichick) is just really good at that. Hell, Randy Moss for a 4th round pick. YES PLEASE!

And to whoever knocked northeast college hockey? Smoking crack today? BC, BU, UNH, Maine, Providence, & UVM? Uh unless you're heading to Michigan you're not going to find more talent in one area It's not too often you get into a Frozen Four without 1 or 2 northeast teams.

oops that didnt show the championship grid right

2001 - BC

2002 - Minnesota

2003 - Minnesota

2004 - Denver

2005 - Denver

2006 - Wisconsin

2007 - Michigan St.

I keep hearing this "everyone else does it" but have yet to seen anyone actually back up that statement in this thread. For one, again, that still doesn't make okay. For another, do you have a source or a link that proves "a whole shitload others" do it too? And for last, if that is actually true, you seem to be clued in on some information that the rest of us don't have. I'm sure the NFL disciplinary committee would love to hear from you.

Yes, the AFC East blows. Thats not to say the Pats suck, they don't. Their performance implies that they could be as successful in any other division (save maybe the AFC South). But its sure a lot easier rack up stats against Miami then it would be Pittsburgh. Thats why the NFL tries to compensate by scheduling better teams with tougher schedules. Historical performance can also be largely irrelevant in this league because a team that was complete garbage two years ago could be competitive this year, or vise versa. The Patriots are a formidable team, but their not bullet-proof either. I just think its funny that people are trying to rail me because I refuse to accept New England as my lord and savior.

With that said, I still don't like your team.

I don't care if you don't like my team. Why should you? I just feel they don't deserve to be called classless by someone that has no clue what they do for each other and the community around them.

As for the cheating I have no proof besides what I read. You read they cheated, I read that others cheat too. Again, why would another coach bother calling Mangini out for "cheating" when every other team does exactly what Mangini's team got called out for.

You and every other professional sports franchise. Look, I'm all for togetherness and reaching out to the community, but that hardly something unique. I have no doubt that there are probably plenty of perfectly good people that are involved in that organization.

Still, I don't see the NFL (of whom would have more knowledge of such things than say ESPN) exercising their power over others who do the same thing, so I have reason to believe that people are not.
