Fuck, was I wrong. That sucked, everything, and I mean everything was boiler-plate. It was worst off the groomed, imagine a half inch sheet of ice with tons of ridges and seemingly soft looking features that resist every attempt to break through. And down near the base, it was just hysterical. Solid ice, no snow, no softness, just frozen water. Man, I really hope that this season opener wont be indicative of the whole year...
