Crystal?

What's the deal with Crystal? My cousin just moved to Tacoma, so naturally as an east coaster I started scouting hills online for when I visit. Seems legit and farely close to Tacoma, but there's barely any threads about it.

Overpriced, shitty crowd, what?

Keep in mind I'm just going to be buying day passes when I visit.

i heard that if you purchase a seasons pass to Crystal they throw in a complimentary buttplug

It's probably like a toothbrush. So many tight buttholes at that place.

Those marijuana smoking knuckle draggers scrape all the snow off the hill. And there's no valet service.

Season passes are expensive as fuck

ritzy bellevue crowd having fantastic attitudes

ski patrol will put it in your ass for hitting a side hit

Its fun in may and june when everyone is gone but its still open

Tacoma? Shit, you're already that far south. Do your self a favor and just make the longer drive to Hood. You won't have to worry about the snow levels being too low for snow (this means rain) or the risk of not having a parking spot on a deep day or weekend; yes, it is really that bad here. You can get up early and make it to the lot at Stevens by 8:30 and not have a chance at getting a parking spot. 1 hour + lift lines for chair 2 at Alpental on a Tuesday? Fuck that shit. Oregon is where it's at.

My vote is Hood. Bigger mountain, higher elevation, more terrain, more parking...not in Washington.

Crystal has some good stuff. Find some locals who aren't yuppie pricks can be hard but a good place to start is the snorting elk. Unfortunely all the bad things the previous guys have said is totally true. A lot of things need to change there, a good place to start would be at the top

Crystal is fun as fuck. The terrain is pretty chill but also some great big mtn skiing if you search/hike for it. Ski Patrol can be tight asses when it comes to ducking ropes and skiing in closed off areas but just don't be a dumb ass about it.

The drive is pretty mellow and the lines are never really too crowded unless theres a big dump during the holiday season (Late december to early january).

Spring skiing there is pretty fun, I've had lots of not-sober memories messing around the mountain and in the jib park.

It seems finding a place to ski here is harder then I thought it would be. snoqualme looks confusing as fuck to get around the mountain. Crystal looks the best from what I can see so far.

Snocompton is just short and wide, It's quite easy to get around. But I agree if you're making a trip out of it hit Oregon.

Just do whistler, better hotels, larger mountain, more what you are looking for. Bonus: it's also in Canada.

loop loop sounds to be right up your ally.

Or just go to whistler, or mt hood, or schwietzer, but watch out, those places are slightly more complex than a couple of trees scattered across an open field, which apparently confuses the fuck out of you.
