WHERE IS CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN'S TERRAIN PARK????

They said they'd build one but never did, and the pipe is more like a ditch. Sign if you want a park there. But the pow is hella good.
 
too many time would be the correct answer, go somewhere else if you want a park, or build some bc booters cause i sure there's some good spots to find up there.
 
did they actually say they were gonna do one? I doubt that. Hasn't been a park there since like 8 years ago, and it wasn't bad back then neither.

i think its nice not having one there though. parks are cool and all, but meh. its a nice break going there.

Crystal hasn't once said they were going to put up a park in the last 6 years... sooo I dont know where your gettin your info..

Oh yeah, don't tell anyone the pipe is a ditch... they spent 250,000 on that ditch.

I've actually never ventured up that lift to see what they are doing with it.. but it has potential, they just never shape it.
 
OH YEAH, 2 years ago they held a "rail jam" buuuut, basically they cut down a few trees and bent em over and called em rails.. thats how we do at crystal BITCHES
 
its kind of steep, if you think about it parks cannot be very steep for rails, or tables, mind you the landings would be nice and steep.
 
couldnt skid road be decent for a park? yeah whats up with their ditch? they were so proud of their halfpipe when they made it and now they dont even set it up anymore. they used to have a halfpipe comp every year
 
they should just have a booter bash in like northback or something. Build like a double stager and then judge that
 
Whats wrong with their pipe? The cat ops are too lazy to go up during the day and shape it. It's not like they are being pressured by management
 
dude have you seen their pipe? Actually, the officials never did say they wanted to build a pipe, but they did a couple years ago, and it was so-so, but a pipe nevertheless. Once Northback express openes, it's going to be hell. Think about it. If you built one on CMAC or something, then queens would be safer for the little kiddies. Once crystal expands, we'll need one.

BTW, crystal is my home mountain, I live close. I have season passes, and I have a room in a ski club so I cant go anywhere else cuz its too much money.

I don't think they'd stick one on cmac though, cuz you'd have to ride through the top of queens. I could see them stickin one on magoo though. That'd be sick.

I think your right though, once they expand, they will eventually give in to a park.. maybe someone should assasinate.... haha, just kidding, im not try'n to assasinate my employer..
 
The one time i went to crystal this year, it seriously took us 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. That place is so fucking awful when the lifts close, everyone does a mad dash to the car to try and be the first ones out of the traffic mess. But the snow is good. Worthwhile.
 
Ya its pretty chill after you leave after 5, after the lifts close, go get some food up at the bullwheel, its pretty good, I've only heard of one person getting food poisoning... hahaa
 
i would love crystal even more if it had a terrain park, but face it, the managment there is gay. but i heard a rumor that they might put one in next year. no validation yet, but one can always hope. but i overheard a someone ask a ski patrol why there wasnt a park, and the guy got hella pissed and wuz like, "we got a halfpipe, wut more do u want". but its just an expensive ditch
 
Hope all you'd like, there won't be a park next year.

EMAIL THEM. if they get enough emails, maybe they'll at least put up a pipe and a few tables.
 
crystal isn't catering to the terrain park crowd... they cater to the older people as a general rule... at least that's how it felt last time I was there... I havn't been there in years so things may have changed but from the sound of it, probably not. I remember it being really expensive too which is part of the reason I stopped going there.
 
erik and i went there for opening day this year, and i couldnt believe it. they made me wear a leash....they actually MADE me get out of line and go buy a leash from the shop. thats a first.....
 
They do that at snoqualmie and its good. I've seen more than a few snowboards going down at like 100mph.

Kevin has to use a leash on one of his skis, cause the brake is fucked.
 
i've never been checked for a leash at snoqualmie, and I'm glad. I may lose all respect for that place if they make me wear a leash
 
Yeah, the leash thing is rediculous... BUT, we got sued afew years ago because some dumbasses snowboard came and injured some little kid.

I hear ya all on the rich thing, and you know what rich people do? They get lawyers, and they sue us... I have never had to cover my ass like I have so many times working in the rental shop, its bullshit.
 
my pole got chopped in half by a boarder and almost broke my leg too, it's a damn good thing there are leashes because most boarders there SUCK no offense
 
rules are rules. and if a mountain can get sued for lots and lots and lots of money, its in there best intrest to protect themselves. cant argue with that. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
 
One of kevin's old public enemies went half way down alpental a few years back. It was night, so it was empty, but its a miracle it didn't hit a car at the road.

I dont even know if it comes down to be a retard or not... its simply if the bolts break off the bindings, or something crazy happens

Now, if you were carrying your snowboard, and dropped it... then you would be deemed a retard.
 
or as is the standard procedure at snoqualmie.....

take your board off, and sit on it and sled down the slope... in the park.... then fall off, and let the board continue on.
