Crystal park crew?

Does anybody know for sure if they are hiring a park crew next year? cuz i would rather work that than the rental shop. But if not i'lll go work for Dumbo (rental shop boss Jerry) hahaa.
 
You know what, that actually makes sense because it's only about to be a couple jibs. And a couple jibs can be maintained by one person periodically throughout the day. But then again I assume they'll have park passes though, so they'll need a couple people working the park all at once. In conclusion, who the fuck knows what Crystal has in mind! haha
 
i think with how much money crystal charges for shit theyll through some more many than just a few flat boxes.
 
Yeah hopefully, but probably not since a majority of their business is snobby fucks and Boyne already owns Snoqualmie so they don't need to attract more freeskiiers and snowboarders to Crystal cuz they already have Snoqualmie for that. but who knows, we might as well hold out some hope that it'll be worth it.
 
It's cool though because crystal is like 5 years behind in snow sports culture so we will get to relive the "vwhhaatt how can you slide rails on skizess?? Isn't that for snowboards??" and also probably witness some sweet gaper fights between douchy snowboarders and equally douchy skiers.

Really though, when I saw that plan for the gondy and park with the fat red line where the gondy is going in (I think it was one your guys' blog) I thought it was a complete joke.
 
the only reason i will go there now is for big mtn comps. just adding my little bit to the crystal hate fest....
 
crystals a sick mountain. my home and the best in washington (opinion) the only problem is that they have never had a park. im a big mountain skier and i only spend about 30% of my time in the park anyways so crystal is perfect for me. i think the new park is gonna suck this year because they have no expirience in freestyle skiing thats why theres no annoying snowboarders or park skiers crystal has to many old gapers. the park is just going to make 12 year old gapers overflow the mountain because they think there the shit for doing a flat box.
 
so much hate on crystal... its a sick mountain! yeah it attracts a lot of douche bags, but guess what! there was this little resort called SUN VALLEY! that played only to those snobby skiers, and after one year of having a park, Level 1 ended up shooting a super gnarly jump there.
yes crystal could mess this up.

yes it could be the start of something awesome.
im just hoping that they take advantage of the opportunity.

 
Making a really big cool jump for some ski movie and paying a company to shoot their riders on it does not mean anything other then choosing a more expensive form of advertising.

If Sun Valley's park is actually good next winter (which I doubt) that will mean something.

And having a park does not put you on the cool status. Snoqualmie has had a park (which due only to the complete incompetence of crystal's owner) that has been better then crystal's park will probably ever be. But Krush is still a douchefag, whom I would not mind watching in an involuntary bull fight.

Mr. Douchefag of crystal (as apposed to Mr. Douchfag of snoqualmie) will still be a douche fag regardless of the shape of the park. If out of nowhere the park gets built up to Mammoth standards, he will still be a douchefag. But it won't because he is a douchefag.
 
i heard that for sun valleys first year having a park it actually was pretty good... but that beside the point. i'm just trying to stay positive, cause it would be nice to have a park at crystal just to have that little something extra when your riding down to the parking lot from the upper half of the mountain. if it turns out to be just a few shitty jibs, then its just a few shitty jibs on a mountain with sweet natural terrain... you don't have to hit them. time will only tell... they are dumping money into crystal right now so they might surprise us.
 
do you honestly believe thats gonna happen? anyone can draw a pic with a shit load of jibs, but it doesnt mean its actually gonna be made

Yeah JP is a chill guy. But he only hired people for the crew that he already knew & he got them all %70 off CAPiTA boards and free under armour jackets and pants. the park is sorta shitty also...
 
I wouldn't pay 30% of what they paid for a CAPiTA board. They would have to pay me to throw away their shit.

There is a park crew...and there are way more features than just a couple flat boxes. If you actually asked and used your eyes, you can see that there are several features already built on the side of the park that are going to be set up throughout the year. All the features are pretty well maintained. No hate will come from me, for Crystal's first year building a jib-only park they are doing really well.
 
I can't use my eyes, because I don't see the value in paying a fuck ton of money to be treated like shit on the bottom of a shoe. Crystal's gay, like you.
