Crystal Mountain MI

anyone been up to mt bohemia in the UP, place looks sick. they have small drops and pretty good terrain it sounds like
 
I second arcadia. I think it would have some good stuff, but same holds true as elberta. its right on the lake so we would have to get an easterly storm system to hold snow there, doesnt happen much, but it happens. Bohemia is sickness as long as they are getting snow. they dont groom. so if its skied off it can be gnar and not in a good way. Otherwise its AWESOME for michigan. They do have some drops in the 10- 30 range. Plan to drive up in a blizzard tho to get the goods.
 
yeah,. been wanting to get up there, but its a long ass drive from where i live. might take a bike ride this summer around the top of loki and see if there would be any good tree skiing over there
 
elberta is sick i've hiked there a few times.

theres good kicker spots behind trick dog into that bowl, and if you hike to the top from one of elberta's back streets you will be rewarded with steep tree runs right back to your car
 
I used to live in elberta, there are lines in there all over the place, on the town side and the lake side. there used to be a ski resort there way back in the day. theres still remnants of an old tbar. When osuman said top of loki, I thought of the power line run off of wipeout. comes out right above totem park, It can be good well after everything else is skied off.
 
you mean nose dive? wipe out was to the left of the chair. what i ment was up by loki was that when i was mtn biking there in the summer, there was a trail called screaming eagle, it took you up top by loki and there were trees and it seemed pretty steep, might expore this summer just to see if there is anything.
 
Oh yeah there's a few fun lines for sure..it can be scary as shit coming down from the trees with some speed onto one of those runs cutting across. A friend of mine came flying across and flew right off the other side into the woods haha
