Crowbar questions

So I have a couple questions regarding crowbars:

1) I'm thinking of getting Oakley Terje Haakonsen Signature Crowbars and they come with the black iridium. Whats the best lens to go with the black irid., for like more darker/flat light conditions? I was thinking like Hi Yellow or Pink Irid?

2) Could someone post a pic of them wearing cbars with the Bern Baker, Giro Encore, or K2 Rant?

3) Not really a cbar question but how is the Rant? I've heard mixed reviews about it so I'm not too sure?

both the pink iridium lens and the hi yellow lens are good for flat light conditions but persimmon and blue iridium would probably work as well, but hi yellow or clear are the only lenses that are good in nightskiing(without- or very low light).

helmets that i know go with cbars are hifi and baker, probably alot of more o' 'em aswell but i can't think of anymore right now.. never seen a guy with the rant and cbar to be honest.

hope any of this helps

I have an Encore and it fits very well with crowbars.

And i had a baker and it also fit super well, but only of you rock the strap underneath the helmet.

Here is a picture that found of me with a baker/c-bars:

And here is one of me wearing the Encore, but it is from far and it is a shitty picture:

I have the rant and I like it. Some people complain that it sits too high on your head(doens't really fit high its just that ithas a high cut around the ears/back) Its's actually really low profile and light. By far the most confortable helmet I've ever had. I will try to get some pics of it with the crowbar up

I Have a few questions, I am trying to figure out how to customize a few of crowbars but i need help figuring out how to take the Straps and Outriggers off of the frame? Please Help, D-Bags not need reply!

Here's a link that should help on taking apart crowbars. Bryce. made a thread on it last year.https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/338083/

And to the original thread, the best lens in low light is probably HI yellow or pink irid. I have pink irid and it's perfect for night skiing at grouse (I assume you'll be skiing there or the other locals this year). It's the only mirrored low light lens, so it looks steezy too. It's basically just a clear lens with a bit of a pink tint. Not really any darker than clear would be, so it sucks in bright weather (in my opinion).

ya I htink I'm gonna get the pink irid.
but thats if I can actually get cbars I just found out backcountry outlet cant ship to canada
bummer
but I'm trying to work something out so hopefully I'll get them
thanks for the advice man

No problem, and I've found a solution to that problem. Ship to a US address and take them accross the border.

This place in Point Roberts called the letter carrier (lettercarrier.com for info) will take your package. Just get it shipped to their address and pick it up for $5 or something. If you get Backcountry to put your phone number on the package they will call you when it comes in. If not, the letter carrier will hold the package for something like 3 months, so you can just show up when it's convenient.

ya thats a good one too
but I made a thread like three minutes ago about it and I've got like 5 pms so I think I'll try via and NSer or a mod

thanks a ton man, +Karma
