Ok so heres the deal, I bought the Tokyo/ Fire iridium crowbars for myself last month. All was good untill the sky turned cloudy and it began to snow. The visibility was poor for almost anything but blue bird days. So, my question is: Should I buy the jet black/ HI yellow crowbars at my local shop for $70? or order some other ones with pink iridium? I could probably get the Pink iridium lensed crowbars for around $80. Im also open to any other lense options as well. But I figure since oakley lenses are so dang expensive I might as well buy a whole nother pair of goggles.
Thanks in advance

hi yellow are the favorites for a low light goggle. they edge over persimmon because of the mirrorized lens that cuts glare. They are also dark enough for when the sun does shine.

I would get the jet black set up, cause brand new lenses are $70, but there are a quite a few lenses floating around NS, if you want to save $20 or so.

hi yellow is my favorite lens and are perfect for flat/low light, but also can edge up the brighter days too.

a functional do anything lens.

either one would be fine. yellow is prolly slightly better. but not mirrored so it doesnt look quite as cool.

pink iridium is a really nice lense (looks ballin too) but it's still not the greatest for really low light. Though I say it's prolly the most versitle lens.

The Hi Yellow Permission lens was really popular in whistler cuz it's always snowing there and really dark. The yellow does a good job of brightening things.

I was rocking my vr28 Polarized lens in whist / baker and it was AMAZING for low light. Was able to see every detail in the snow. Even at the top of blackcomb when my friends couldn't see shit!

So if you can afford it ... get a polarized lens. I read a bunch of bs on here about how bad polarized would be ... how it does the oppositie of what you want blah blah blah.

but really ... polarized is way sick.
