i ski about half night and half in the daytime. I want to get a new crowbar lens and i dont know what to get. right now i have the persimmon i think. its orange which works pretty well for both. so what lens looks steezy and is functional in day and night? +k for helpful advice

and what is the name of the lens that is orange looking through and has silverish shiny outside?

Personally, if you spend that much time skiing at night, it'd be worth it to just buy another pair of crowbars with a clear lens, so you have one for days and one for nights.
And the "orange lens with shinny sides" is the Fire lens, which is really good for medium bright to bright days. The most versatile lens is probably the Pink Iridium or Grey Polarized lens, but clear is definitely best at night, with Hi Intensity Yellow following close behind.

i also ski a lot at night and day. So wat i do was bought one lens for day (black iridum) and one lens for night (clear). Its super easy just to pop one lens out and the other in when u need to change. And it saves the cost of having to buy a whole new pair of crowbars.

i know its not fire

i mean the one thats orange tinted looking through with silverish shine on the outside

pink iridium x 100000

perfect for that time where its too light out for the lights to be on but too flat to see contrast in the snow

If it is super reflective silver look that is the black iridium. And also is not the best for night. I would reccomemend the Emerald Iridium, or the Pink Iridium.

Gold iridium is great for day i do night skiing to and it works fine, but if u want something thats just sick for day and night just go with clear tons of my friends steeze the clear lenses

HONESTLYYYYY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS BULL SHIT!!!

BLue iridium is definatley the best

I used to have the crowbars

When i first got them, i used to change the lens for day and night

i had grey polarized lense for da and hi yellow for night

and honestly is was a payne in the ass

but

Then i found out oakley makes a blue lense, which i wanted for a long time

and finally got the money for it and ordered it.

probably the best 60$ dollars i spent

wellll

next to the blue iridium lens for splices

Yes, this is a good lens. It allows more light in than pink iridium will. Pink iridium makes like an 10% tint and this has like a -10% tint (source: salesman at local shop). If your eyes aren't that sensitive to light, blue will work. Otherwise, pink iridium is perfect. Works great for me at night and day, always have great clarity in all lighting.

Wow I hate how half the NS users are ignorant as fuck.
Listen, if you're into the 50/50 scene, you'll better yourself by investing in a clear lens.
Now trust I've tried it all, Pink Iridium, Blue Iridium, Grey Polarized, Hi Yellow, Fire iridium, and clear.
I ended keeping my fire and using it during the day and using my clear during the night. You can get a super cheap deal if hunt well enough. I would say the range of 30-40 bucks is well worth the investment.
Go to the official crowbar part trade thread and search around, I'm sure someone will sell you one for 25 shipped.
Pink Iridium is SHIT, you end up squinting like a mofo because you can't see if thats a rock or a fox ahead.
