Crotched?

i was there a few weeks ago and it looked like it was going to be ill once they put some take offs on there tables

i found a video with what they currently have, turn the sound off and be prepared for some shitty boarders and editing.
that was all in the mini park. the main park has kink rail, down bar, a 35 - 45fter with a 25ft step up, tanker with a fun box on top, and 20ft hand.

i just read about their like midnight madness thing, sounds sick especially since it's going on every friday and saturday.

im a bit conufsed on what they mean by lock-out for $15, is that $15 for a room overnight or what? any word on how much it would cost to basically come at 5pm friday, ski till 3am+ski saturday & stay overnight? also anyone ever get a room there have any idea if you can get one if your 17 if you have a parent or someone call in to comfirm

List of shit:

mini park:

c box

fd box

flat box

flat rail

rainbow rail

another flat box

flat rail (good for spinning off)

shotgun down rail

3 small jumps

main park:

50 foot jump

dfd rail

down rail (urban get on)

45 footer with 25 footer lip on the side

single barrel down rail (supper smooth)

propane tanker

real fun

ya i ski crotched 3-4 times a week and i must say they have quality parks....the mini park is nice for all of the rail but the three jumps are real small... the main park is nice with three total takes off but their newest jump the 50 footer has a little too much kick to it

you have got to be kidding me. The new 50 footer is the sickest jump currently at crotched. One because it is big enough that no one hits it unless they can actually ski, and two BECAUSE IT POPS YOU NICE. The whole point of a jump is to get you nice and high to get grabs and shit in your spins. SO MUCH FUN!!!

I'll be up Friday and Saturday night unless the weather's bad. I'll try to grab some shots for you.

Anyone else going to be there?

well it all depends on how you define "kick"... kick could mean its a steep transition and throws you high or it could mean that they have a nice smooth take off that has a steep lip at the end that some parks like to do to make their jumps suck balls. whats the deal with that anyway? having a bump at the top of a jump only makes you get bucked off the lip. does this help snowboarders or something? because i've seen it at a few different places and i just don't understand why you would have a nice take off with a death bump.

I was there tonight. The park looks really nice, but almost all ice. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the landing on the second hit. It's way too flat for the amount of pop they have on it.

Here're pics of the main park. The Zero-G park is all rails. They're nice, but not worth posting.
First rail

First hit in the line. Shoots you straight out.

Into the second hit where it shoots you up onto a somewhat flat landing.

To a choice of these two rails

Into either a rollercoaster box and a up down rail or a final hit

Into a down rail or an old oil tank
